Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp tells Sky Sports: "We had no other players in training so prepared like they (Brazilian players) would be able to play. It was one session we could not do exactly what we wanted to do but it is all fine.

"It is about the different authorities finding solutions, an elite sports exemption (would be good) but it showed how difficult it still is.

"Leeds are very intense, very aggressive, physical and play proper football. A really good team, well put together, set up is good and are really a threat. We have to defend on the top level.

"I am excited about the atmosphere, I love atmospheres in football stadiums."

The Leeds players have come into the corner, and it is packed. The fans gave them a rousing round of applause; you can see how much they appreciate what this team has done. Old stadiums seem to hold the atmosphere so much better.

The atmosphere is really building now. The Liverpool fans - in a section of the West Stand at Elland Road - and the Leeds fans in the South Stand near them are currently engaged in a bit of one upmanship over who can out-sing the other.

Every Leeds player is so honest with the work they put in. When you make as 30 or 40-yard run to close somebody down, last season fans didn't get to appreciate it live. Now we've heard them cheering. It is a great feeling.

Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa tells Sky Sports: "(Raphinha being available) is a positive for football in general and us in particular.

"Dan James is one of the options we count on in the wide positions. In occasions he will start, on occasions he won't.

"Liverpool are a great team with very good players and a superior manager. All the games in the Premier League are difficult and this one is too considering the individuality and their general play.

"In the game against Everton, the crowd was excellent and it is difficult to imagine an atmosphere better than we have seen up until now."

Leeds are famed for their high-tempo, fierce pressing style. It is clearly all or nothing too. They're conducting a warm-up session of two-touch keep-ball in a coned off area of the pitch and they are charging around like men possessed. No stopping, no breathers.

Apparently, Marcelo Bielsa is all about getting lactic acid released into muscles ahead of kick-off so players experience the benefits when the game gets under way.

It's a lot easier for Welsh substitute pair Tyler Roberts and Dan James down on this near side, who are just stroking a ball back and forwards to each other.

Just watching Diogo Jota in the warm-up and Liverpool forward is looking sharp.

The energy around Elland Road is electric. Looking around seeing all the seats being filled slowly but surely and hearing the energy around the place, seeing the anticipation on fans' faces. It is something we've missed everywhere.

He could become the fifth quickest player to reach the milestone, having played 161 games, behind Alan Shearer (124), Harry Kane (141), Sergio Aguero (147) and Thierry Henry (160).
