  1. SUBSTITUTION - double change for Man Citypublished at 14:16 British Summer Time 25 September 2021

    Chelsea 0-1 Man City

Fernandinho and Raheem Sterling come on for Phil Foden and Jack Grealish.

A match-clinching goal at Stamford Bridge for Grealish would have repaid a fair chunk of that £100m transfer fee.

  2. SUBSTITUTION - Villa bring on Archerpublished at 14:15 British Summer Time 25 September 2021

    Man Utd 0-0 Aston Villa

Another change for Aston Villa as Jacob Ramsey makes way for Cameron Archer. We're into the final five minutes here now.

  3. YELLOW CARD - for Chelsea's Rudigerpublished at 14:14 British Summer Time 25 September 2021

    Chelsea 0-1 Man City

Always feels like a matter of time till Antonio Rudiger is booked. Today he lasts almost 85 minutes before being punished for a foul as City try to launch another attack.

"Bring on Cavani, Bring on Cavani" roar the Stretford End.

And Ole Gunnar Solskjaer obliges with under 10 minutes of normal time remaining.

Will the Uruguay forward make a difference?

  5. SUBSTITUTION - Cavani on for Man Utdpublished at 14:13 British Summer Time 25 September 2021

    Man Utd 0-0 Aston Villa

There's a huge roar around Old Trafford as Edinson Cavani replaces Scott McTominay.

There are eight minutes of normal time to play here. Will we see a goal?!

  6. CLOSE! Mendy denies Grealishpublished at 14:12 British Summer Time 25 September 2021

    Chelsea 0-1 Man City

More space for City on the break, Grealish is one-on-one with Edouard Mendy, but the Chelsea goalkeeper is out quick and spreads himself well to block Grealish's shot just inside the box. Great chance for City.

  7. Postpublished at 14:12 British Summer Time 25 September 2021

    Man Utd 0-0 Aston Villa

Brilliant play from John McGinn once again. He finds Emi Buendia who squares it to Jacob Ramsey in the middle of the box. The youngster slips before the ball gets to him and he's hurt himself in the process. That's unfortunate, but another big chance for Villa.

  8. Team news - Fernandez in for Newcastle, Willock startspublished at 14:10 British Summer Time 25 September 2021

  9. SUBSTITUTION - Mahrez on for De Bruynepublished at 14:10 British Summer Time 25 September 2021

  10. CLOSE! Laporte pokes wide for Citypublished at 14:09 British Summer Time 25 September 2021

    Chelsea 0-1 Man City

Kevin de Bruyne delivers a peach of an outswinger with a free-kick from the right. That's more like it from the Belgian.

An unmarked Aymeric Laporte is stretching for it at the far post and the Spain defender pokes it agonisingly wide. Surely that would have sealed it for City.

Tom: I cannot understand why United are into the 75th minute+ at 0-0, and Ole hasn't made an attacking substitute yet. Maybe a change is needed, never been a fan of chopping and changing a manager, but someone like Tuchel has no issues with half time subs. Too little too late from Ole as per usual I suspect.

    Man Utd 0-0 Aston Villa

Aston Villa are going for it. It's an attacking substitution by Dean Smith as Danny Ings makes way for Emi Buendia. This is the Argentine's first Premier League appearance since before the international break.

  14. YELLOW CARD - for Chelsea's Christensenpublished at 14:07 British Summer Time 25 September 2021

    Chelsea 0-1 Man City

Another booking for Chelsea, this time defender Andreas Christensen. He wraps both arms around Kevin de Bruyne's waist, to be fair.

  15. YELLOW CARD - for Chelsea's Alonsopublished at 14:06 British Summer Time 25 September 2021

    Chelsea 0-1 Man City

Cesar Azpilicueta whips in a dangerous cross from the right but it doesn't find a Chelsea man.

  16. 'Terrific entertainment'published at 14:05 British Summer Time 25 September 2021

    Man Utd 0-0 Aston Villa

    Neil Johnston

Groans as another Manchester United move breaks down. This really is edge-of-your-seat stuff. We're into the final quarter and both teams are going for it. End-to-end. Terrific entertainment.

  17. Postpublished at 14:04 British Summer Time 25 September 2021

    Man Utd 0-0 Aston Villa

Paul Pogba is hungry for a goal today. He's surrounded by four Villa players but somehow finds a way through. He pulls the shot off, but it's straight at Emi Martinez.

  18. SUBSTITUTION - Loftus-Cheek on for Jorginhopublished at 14:04 British Summer Time 25 September 2021

    Chelsea 0-1 Man City

  19. Postpublished at 14:02 British Summer Time 25 September 2021

    Chelsea 0-1 Man City

Jack Grealish finds Joao Cancelo on the overlap down the left but the Portugal international scuffs his square ball and Edouard Mendy is able to gather relatively easily inside the six-yard box.

  20. Postpublished at 14:02 British Summer Time 25 September 2021

    Man Utd 0-0 Aston Villa

Man Utd are growing into the game again now, but Aston Villa are defending like their lives depend on it.

Bodies are flying here, there and everywhere as the hosts eventually win another corner. Looks like there are plenty of tired legs out there now.
