    Chelsea 3-0 Juventus

You have to marvel at the sheer depth of quality in this Chelsea squad. Yes, I know, it's largely because they have more money than Scrooge McDuck, but even so.

They get injuries, make changes, and they barely dip in quality. Ruben Loftus-Cheek has been ace since he came on, for example.

Really good save from Wojciech Szczesny - Hakim Ziyech did everything right, kept it low but it's a really strong right hand from Szczesny. It could've been a lot more really if it wasn't for him - but to be honest Chelsea weren't clinical in the first half and it could've been a lot more anyway.

Hakim Ziyech so close to making it 4-0!

Timo Werner sets his fellow forward up, but his low shot from just inside the box is just a touch too close to Wojniech Szczesny, who makes a smart low save.

If an English club doesn't win the CL this year, I'd be pretty surprised. There is a gulf.

Into the last 10 minutes around Europe and Barcelona are still searching for the goal that will send them through with one game to spare.

It's still 0-0 against Benfica at the Nou Camp. Bayern Munich v Barcelona on 8 December looks like being huge in terms of Barca's Champions League ambitions.

Lille and Sevilla still lead in the ever-so-tight Group G and Atalanta are 2-1 up in Switzerland against Young Boys in Manchester United's group.

The re-emergence of Ruben Loftus-Cheek is such a bonus for Chelsea and, possibly, England. He's a big, powerful, talented runner from midfield as he demonstrates by striding past tackle after tackle in the middle of the pitch to get Chelsea up the field.

Richard: Chelsea need to be careful here with injuries. CL is great but this year the PL championship is available and need to focus on that. Both would be great but let's not get greedy.

Richard H: 20 years ago, if someone had told me that Chelsea would dominate Juventus in the Champions Leagues with three academy players on the score sheet and another one laying on an assist I would have said they were crazy ... but here we are.

Moise Kean hasn't had the best of times since coming on. All he's done is clatter into two players and give away fouls.

Jorginho has been so good just sitting in front of the defence, he mops up everything. He might not have the speed you'd expect from a defensive midfielder but where he lacks that he has such good game intelligence. He reads play before it actually happens and the pass to send other people on their way is always brilliant.

Not for the first time this season, Chelsea have three different English scorers. There have been critics of their loan system in the past, but they've grown a number of excellent English players who are now in the core of the squad.
