It was unbelievable from Benzema, who backheeled it to Valverde. That awareness just opened it all up.
I think Silva gets a little touch before it gets struck on to the crossbar. It should have been 1-0.
Villarreal 1-0 Bayern Munich
Bayern are rocking a bit now after the shock of that Villarreal opener and Giovani Lo Celso is causing all sorts of problems.
Can the home side get another?
Chelsea 0-0 Real Madrid

Chelsea 0-0 Real Madrid
Nice footwork from a Reece James to evade his marker on the right but Real Madrid counter Chelsea with a rapid break and Fede Valverde slips it left to Vinicius Junior, who takes a touch but then rattles the crossbar with his right foot. Huge, huge chance. He should have scored!
Arnaut Danjuma (eight mins)
Well then!
Former Bournemouth striker Arnaut Danjuma sends the home fans wild as he gives them the lead against Bayern Munich!
It is a real poachers goal as Giovani Lo Celso pulls the ball back from the right and Daniel Parejo takes a first-time shot that Danjuma nips in to redirect into the bottom corner.

It's a brilliant run from Havertz and a great ball from Kante.
Real Madrid are very high but credit to Alaba, he does enough.

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel's body language is clear. He is ordering Chelsea to push right on to Real Madrid, putting them under instant pressure and giving them no time on the ball.
Chelsea 0-0 Real Madrid
Chelsea almost pick Real Madrid off on the counter.
Kai Havertz escapes in behind, throws a couple of step-overs to work some space on his left foot inside the box but can then only curl over the crossbar under pressure from David Alaba.
Villarreal 0-0 Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich are dominating possession in the early stages but there's a roar from the home fans as they win a throw in level with the Bayern area but it comes to nothing.

Chelsea 0-0 Real Madrid
Antonio Rudiger scored a screamer on Saturday, before Chelsea conceded four, and goes marauding into the Real Madrid half before overunning his touch and giving away a free-kick.
Would've been calls for him to shoot if he'd made it a few yards further.

They've been very front-footed and aggressive - they tend to start really fast, Chelsea.
They will try to blow Real Madrid away early doors.
Chelsea 0-0 Real Madrid
Good start form Thomas Tuchel's side who get down the right with Mason Mount and he whips a dangerous ball across the face of goal. Christian Pulisic was lurking, but couldn't get on the end of it.

Right then, everyone pumped?! The players are out for the Champions League anthem, it's almost time...
Chelsea v Real Madrid (20:00 BST)
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel says his side are "excited" about their Champions League quarter-final tie with Real Madrid and has called it a "special occasion" for his side.
"We don’t lose too much sleep thinking about where they are in Europe," he said. "We want to prove a point again tomorrow, that is the target.
"The opponent is special and that is why we are excited about it.
"I said it two years ago that Karim Benzema was one of the most underrated players in the world, but probably not anymore.
"For sure, he is a standout player and personality. But at this moment it's unfair to Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, Casemiro, all the players who've carried the team so successfully over the years."
Villarreal v Bayern Munich (20:00 BST)
It is a conundrum for any manager who faces Bayern Munich - how do you stop Robert Lewandowski?
The Poland striker has scored more than 40 goals in each of his last two seasons and if he's given a sniff of a chance he will take it.
However, Villarreal's Raul Albiol and Pau Torres did a good job of keeping Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic limited to mostly scraps in the previous round.
“We have two centre-backs who are accustomed to playing against these rivals,” Villarreal boss Unai Emery said.
“We try to help the players. To give steps. When we faced Vlahovic, I told Pau that it was his moment. Now Lewandowski, Miller, Sane arrive. They are games for them [the defenders]."
