Paul: Benzema is such a good player...never truly got the plaudits he deserves.

Wayne: As shaky as Real are at the back, you can never write them off with Benzema in this sort of form.

Never, ever discount Real Madrid when they have Karim Benzema - and when you do not take your chances.

This tie could almost be over and yet suddenly, from nowhere, Real Madrid look alive again.

I think Fernandinho is dropping into the right-back role. I know what I'd be doing if I was a Real Madrid player. I'd be wanting to get the ball out to Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior out wide as much as possible.

A brilliant cross and again a fantastic finish from Karim Benzema. He gets in front of Oleksandr Zinchenko. It's poor defending from him but a fantastic finish.

    Karin Benzema

    Who else?

From nowhere, Karim Benzema drags Real right back into this.

Ferland Mendy's cross doesn't look hugely threatening at first, but that doesn't account for the class of Benzema, who turns it inside the far post with a beautiful cushion finish.

    What a player.

Scott: Madrid's midfield is MIA. Pep has got his tactics spot on.

Andrew: What a selfish, selfish decision by Mahrez right there. That was a tap-in for Foden had Mahrez thought of the team instead of himself.

Now Oleksandr Zinchenko fires a shot wide of the post. It was from range and struck well, but just not quite accurately enough.
