    Preston 0-1 Liverpool

    Mark Lawrenson
BBC football expert on BBC Radio 5 Live

Preston just need to make sure they don't concede another goal and then maybe they'll get another 15-20 minute spell where they can attack Liverpool. They certainly had enough chances to score in the first half.

So, just the one goalless game now. Don't think many of us would have predicted it to be the one between West Ham and Man City.

    Lucas Moura (68 mins)

    And it's the substitute!

Full-back Emerson Royal gets forward into a dangerous position on the right and whips a cross into the Burnley box, where fellow Brazilian Lucas Moura is waiting.

Moura doesn't even have to jump, heading the ball into the ground and watching it bounce up beyond Nick Pope in the Burnley goal to give Tottenham the lead.

    Takumi Minamino

Finally, Liverpool get their act together!

It is a fine finish from Takumi Minamino, who flicks a cross from Neco Williams past the diving Declan Rudd and into the far corner of the net.

How much of a blow will that be to Preston, who have been the better side?

    That's a beauty.

Stoke have a lifeline thanks to a lovely finish by ex-Brentford man Romaine Sawyers.

A corner is only half cleared and Sawyers chests it down before finding the net from the edge of the box.

There is a short delay here - two or three minutes - as Sean Maguire receives some treatment. He looks like he's good to continue, though.

    West Ham 0-0 Man City

It is opening up a bit now. A shot at either end as Ilkay Gundogan goes close before Arthur Masuaku forces Zack Steffen to push the ball away at the other. Andriy Yarmolenko follows up but sees his low shot blocked.

  17. Postpublished at 20:53 British Summer Time 27 October 2021

    Preston 0-0 Liverpool

Liverpool just cannot make it stick up front. They are getting harried and hunted all over the pitch. Curtis Jones is not given a second on the ball to even think about making a pass, never mind executing it.

  18. Postpublished at 20:49 British Summer Time 27 October 2021

    Preston 0-0 Liverpool

Liverpool have made a change. You might think it would come higher up the pitch, but it is in defence with Nathaniel Phillips replacing Joel Matip.

  20. KICK-OFFpublished at 20:47 British Summer Time 27 October 2021

Back under way. Time to be more 'last two minutes at the King Power' and less 'pretty much all the rest of the time everywhere else'.
