Fair play to the travelling Norwich fans because Burnley is a long way to go when it is wet, windy and you haven't seen your side win a league game this season.

They've been very vocal early doors and have seen their side have a couple of promising moments as the Canaries look to score on the road for the first time since their return to the top flight.

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:26 British Summer Time 2 October 2021

    Burnley 0-0 Norwich

Oof! Not a tackle for the feint-hearted!

The ball gets away from Chris Wood and he crunches into Grant Hanley. Was his boot up? He certainly didn't seem to get the ball. Kevin Friend opts for yellow.

  3. CLOSE!published at 15:25 British Summer Time 2 October 2021

    Chelsea 1-0 Southampton

    That was close!

James Ward-Prowse just wide from distance. He smashed that and Edouard Mendy was relieved to see it go behind.

    Leeds 1-0 Watford

Leeds are dominant. Mateusz Klich fired a shot that Ben Watson saves and soon after Raphinha looks to play in Rodrigo, but the striker's touch lets him down.

    Leeds 1-0 Watford

The Leeds fans are not so politely wondering where VAR may have been in the decision-making for that penalty.

I've just seen a replay. James is completely taken out by William Troost-Ekong, who has an arm right across him and no intent of getting the ball. I'm sorry, but that is a penalty.

    Jermaine Beckford
    Ex-Leeds striker on Final Score

What a finish it was as well! Poor defending from Watford, one defender put his head down to clear it, but a great finish and the crowd went bonkers - almost as much as I did here!

    Leeds 1-0 Watford

Huge appeals for a Leeds penalty!

Daniel James is dragged down in the box as Leeds drive forward. The winger is adamant it should be a pen. The ref on the pitch doesn't think so, nor does VAR.

I have to say, it looked a penalty to me.

    Hwang Hee-chan

They're dancing in the rain at Molineux!

Fresh from his goal at Southampton last week, Raul Jimenez sets up Hwang Hee-chan to score from an angle inside the box.

A nice sliding celebration too from the South Korean forward.

    Diego Llorente

    It was coming!

A corner is right into the mixer from Raphinha and when Watford cannot clear, Diego Llorente sticks out a boot to guide the ball in. Sharp reaction.

The Spanish defender has only just come back from injury to score what could be a big goal for Leeds' season.

    Another Leeds chance.

Junior Firpo drives forward, finds Mateusz Klich in a central area and his set-up for Stuart Dallas is neat, but the following shot is wild.

    Chelsea 1-0 Southampton

Trevoh Chalobah's second goal in his fourth Premier League match has put Chelsea top of the 'as it stands' table.

Chalobah has already equalled his total of two league goals last season for Lorient in Ligue 1 (29 matches).

Sean Dyche is up and yelling gravelly shouts across the pitch. No need to guess what he thinks of that penalty shout a minute or two ago.

    Burnley 0-0 Norwich

Burnley are screaming at the ref. They want a penalty at least. Matej Vydra is flattened in the box by Tim Krul as they challenge for a ball from a free-kick. It was two fists against the forward's head. The ref thinks he got enough of the ball as well, though. No penalty.

    Wolves 0-0 Newcastle

Fifteen minutes on the clock at Molineux. More injuries than shots so far. Ruben Neves is down getting treatment.

But for a flick off the Burnley wall to take the effort over, Mathias Norman's free-kick would likely have tested Nick Pope.

The keeper then comes out to punch away to clear the danger following the resulting corner.

This already looks like it could be a long afternoon for Southampton.

Romelu Lukaku looks set to strike when he is denied by a last-ditch challenge.

    It's all Chelsea.

James Tarkowski with a very cynical nudge to take down Teemu Pukki near the edge of the box. It's a yellow for the Burnley defender and a dangerous free-kick to Norwich.

Chalobah has snuck round at the back post. It is a good corner kick, flicked on at the near post and Chalobah knows what he is doing there.

  20. 'Chalobah pounced like a striker'published at 15:12 British Summer Time 2 October 2021

    Chelsea 1-0 Southampton

    Garth Crooks
Former Tottenham Hotspur striker on Final Score

It felt offside to me. Chalobah picks a fantastic position at the far post, he can see it won't be won cleanly and follows it round the back to put himself in a position where a striker would be.
