They attack the front post area, West Ham. Angelo Ogbonna beats Ben Godfrey, he beats Decaln Rice, the header goes past Jordan Pickford before he can even tell what's happened.

Everton win a corner as they look to hit back immediately. It will be delayed as a West Ham player gets attention.

It's Tomas Soucek. Oh, ouch, he's got a boot to the face (accidentally as he lay on the floor) from Salomon Rondon.

Andros Townsend continues to supply the ammo. His cross from the right is headed towards goal by Salomon Rondon but his effort is straight at Lucasz Fabianski.

Big Oot: Everton have survived extended periods with no strikers before. They did just fine when Moyes played just Tim Cahill up front, by himself, for months at a time. At least they gave a striker this time.

Kiptaiyat: Everton will regret the Iwobi shocker in the first half.

Michail Antonio is down. Michael Keane looks to have caught him on the foot. A momentarily painful one, but thankfully nothing too serious.

Really good block by Michael Keane. It's getting scrappy now.

Michail Antonio would have forced a save from Jordan Pickford if the block hadn't been made, it's good play from Keane and from Said Benrahma to find Antonio.

Both managers must be considering if they can add some fresh legs and ideas to their respective attacks now. Maybe 20 minutes of Manuel Lanzini or Andriy Yarmolenko for West Ham?

Everton's options are more limited. Could Anthony Gordon offer something?

Here is Michail Antonio with space in the box... Great block by Michael Keane!

The Everton defender was in sharply there to get his body in the way after Antonio had been found by Said Benrahma.

As a wide midfielder, you're hoping someone is reacting in the box, on the move. Salomon Rondo is getting caught on his heels a little.

There's nobody with real goalscoring instinct in the Everton strike-force.

Not seen as much of Michail Antonio in this half as the first. Everton doing a decent job cutting off the supply.

West Ham threaten. Said Benrahma slings over a decent cross but Tomas Soucek is under pressure from Michael Keane in the middle and can't make contact.

Andy: Yes we’re short on options up top but being overrun in midfield. Should put on Gordon for Iwobi. As for Rondon, either bring on another midfielder and push Gray up top, or give Dobbin more of a run out.

The corner is taken short and then fed to the edge of the box, where a few Everton players converge for a shot. None of them make clean contact, though. Finally, Alex Iwobi smashes a volleyed cross through the box and out of play.

Richarlison is here, chewing on his nails. He's feeling it, like everyone else at Goodison. The first goal will be a big one in this game.

West Ham are starting to take control of possession again in Everton's half.

Everton are sitting back and making it difficult for West Ham. This game needs a goal now, both sides have people on the field that can unlock the door.

Everton look to counter quickly but Declan Rice does Declan Rice things by tracking back, sensing danger and cutting out Andros Townsend's in-field pass.

It's heating up now.

Seamus Coleman cuts inside from the right and on to his left foot, but slices his effort from an angle horribly wide.

Straight away, down the other end, Said Benrahma sees a shot blocked.

West Ham respond with a bit of pressure of their own. Two corners cause Everton a bit of difficulty, with Jordan Pickford pushing the first behind before saving a shot from Said Benrahma as the second is taken short.
