But Nicky Evrard wasn't too sure on this occasion as Clara Mateo's cross (or was it a shot?) sails over the Belgium goalkeeper's head but thankfully the wrong side of the post.

Again France, it looks like a nothing ball but Sarr knows what's going to happen - the ball is going to be played in behind. She's never getting beaten for pace but the goalkeeper did well.

I was trying to write some of my report at half time but got distracted by a Belgium fan dressed as some sort of Viking and some France fans in chicken hats dancing to Beyonce's Crazy In Love and posing for photos.

Rachel Brown-Finnis
Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC One
France took their foot off the pedal. They started at 100 miles an hour. Relentless waves of pressure. It felt like they might surpass their opening game.
After 15 minutes they kind of stepped off and gave Belgium an easy 15 minutes to bed into the game. They [briefly] paid the price.

The fans are enjoying what they are seeing here as both groups of players are clapped off the pitch by their respective fans.
It has certainly been entertaining but I'm not sure how happy France boss Corinne Diacre will be with her side's inability to put away more of their many chances.
In the second half against Italy they either stepped off or were distinctly below par, they can afford for neither to happen this time.
Peaches FC is a five-a-side team for women and non-binary players, set up in London in 2021 after founders Jess and Amy realised they didn't have a club to represent them in the local area.
Since then, Peaches has gone from strength to strength, with its members forming strong bonds on and off the pitch - and Jess and Amy say starting the team is the best thing they ever did.

I'm really happy. We started really well like the game against Italy. A lot of energy and intensity but then Belgium were really tight and not giving much space. But we had to expect that from them.
