It was just a yard too far in front of Jarrod Bowen, West Ham are really threatening.

We've really been treated to an excellent game, West Ham could easily sit back and defend but they're not.

Michail Antonio holds off a challenge on the right edge of the box and drives a low ball in for the unmarked Jarrod Bowen. He is on the stretch and can only steer his effort past the far post.

Eddie Howe makes two changes to the Newcastle team that drew with Norwich in midweek.

Ciaran Clark is suspended while Ryan Fraser isn't in the matchday squad. They're replaced by Jamaal Lascelles, who returns from suspension, and Miguel Almiron.

James Tarkowski returns from a suspension to replace centre-back Ben Mee.

Jack Cork drops to the bench in favour of Ashley Westwood, also returning from a suspension.

Huge blow for West Ham with Kurt Zouma come off. It didn't look great, it could have been his calf, his hamstring.

You could see in his face that he was absolutely devastated. It's going to be tough for West Ham now, this could be a long 20 minutes.

Again the Hammers survive, winning the first header from the delivery and then blocking Mason Mount's shot.

West Ham see off the corner, but Jarrod Bowen then fouls Callum Hudson-Odoi to concede a dangerous free-kick on the left.

Zouma is done. He's not going to return. Big miss for West Ham, especially as they have a corner the defend. Midfielder Pablo Fornals is his replacement. Looks like they'll switch to four at the back.

Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl makes two changes to the side that drew with Leicester on Wednesday. Armando Broja and Lyanco come in, with Jan Bednarek out injured and Adam Armstrong dropping to the bench

Goalkeeper Fraser Foster is out after concerns pre-match about an unspecified injury. Harry Lewis take his place on the bench, with Theo Walcott also among the substitutes.

Brighton & Hove Albion manager Graham Potter gives popular 21-year-old Tariq Lamptey a start after coming off the bench in the midweek draw with West Ham. The full-back is among five changes made, with Enoch Mwepu, Pascal Gross, Shane Duffy and Dan Burn all coming in. The Seagulls trio of Adam Lallana, Jeremy Sarmiento, Adam Webster, who were all injured in that draw, drop out.

Leandro Trossard also starts on his 27th birthday.
