Crystal Palace 1-0 Everton
Richarlison had 10 touches of the ball in the whole game! Shocking. No other outfield player had less than 20. He's having a proper sulk on the bench.

Crystal Palace 1-0 Everton
Salomon Rondon and Anthony Gordon are on for Richarlison - who is very unhappy at being replaced - and Fabian Delph.
Crystal Palace 1-0 Everton
Everton are readying a couple of subs. They need them.
Crystal Palace 1-0 Everton
Jordan Ayew scoops the ball into the path of that man Conor Gallagher, but he shoots into the side-netting from a tight angle. Maybe should have tried to pick someone out in the centre.
Crystal Palace 1-0 Everton
Palace pulling out the party pieces now. Will Hughes does about three spins in a row to beat players and finds Tyrick Mitchell, who flicks the ball to a team-mate.
Crystal Palace 1-0 Everton
Somehow I can't imagine Roy Hodgson's Palace managing 69.8% possession in a game last season.

Huge chance. Conor Gallagher let it hit him instead of going to attack it. It's a good ball in from Wilfried Zaha.
Gallagher is just leaning back and can't generate enough power, but it's good play down that left-hand side between Zaha and Tyrick Mitchell.
Crystal Palace 1-0 Everton
Conor Gallagher holds up a long ball - he's a targetman too now - but Odsonne Edouard's shot is blocked.
That's generally how loan deals work to be fair.

Andre: It's sad as a Palace fan to think this will be the only season Conor Gallagher will probably play for us.
Crystal Palace 1-0 Everton
Conor Gallagher almost gets his second. Wilfried Zaha whips in a lovely cross and Gallagher heads it downwards just past the post.
Crystal Palace 1-0 Everton
A good duel between Wilfried Zaha and Seamus Coleman which the Irishman wins. It's all Palace at the start of this half though.
Crystal Palace 1-0 Everton
Only Watford and Norwich City (12) have conceded the opening goal as many times as Everton (11) this Premier League season.
Everton have won three of their 10 previous.
Please don't bet your house on one average Premier League side beating another average Premier League side.

Andy: It is sad how predictable it has become, I would have put my house on Everton being bested by Palace after what should have been a spring board result against Arsenal. No momentum will be built, with more tough fixtures to come.
Crystal Palace 1-0 Everton
Crystal Palace would overtake Everton and go 12th in the table if they win this.
Everton would be 14th.

Sam: Most of us Everton fans were told at the very least Rafa would sure Everton up at the back. No stupid goals be given away. I haven’t see that yet!

Palace have dominated and thoroughly deserve going in 1-0 up. Demarai Gray makes the mistake, Everton have defended well, but Rafa Benitez will want a big improvement going forward in the second half.
