Manchester City
Riyad Mahrez, who scored his 50th goal for Manchester City, told Sky Sports: "It's not bad, as long as it helps the team win games, that's the most important thing.
"I was quite sure I was onside as I saw the defender running with me so I didn't think I was offside.
"Every game is a battle. It's always good to score early in the game and that's what we did. Overall it was a good game and we deserved to win."

Tottenham have had two weeks without a game because of Covid but they have been able to train for most of that time.
Knowing what Antonio Conte is like, I just think he will have Spurs well drilled and lying in wait for Liverpool, and the time they have had to prepare for it makes me think they can get something out of the game.
Liverpool haven't won in London yet this season after drawing with Brentford and losing to West Ham, and I think they might have to wait until they play Chelsea at the start of 2022 to try to put that right.
Prediction: 1-1

Liverpool
More from Jurgen Klopp, on some of his missing players: "One more positive test with Thiago, Jordan Henderson is the only one with proper symptoms but not Covid. He has a cold so we sent him home."

Tottenham haven't played in so long. But if they're training for that period Antonio Conte will absolutely love that.
I think this will be a difficult game for Liverpool.
Tottenham v Liverpool (16:30 GMT)
Tottenham Hotspur
Spurs boss Antonio Conte, speaking to Sky Sports: "Two very difficult weeks with nine players with Covid and staff with Covid and under-23 players with Covid.
"It was very difficuult to have training sessions and the government decided to close the training ground for three days, the last game was two weeks ago against Norwich.
"For sure it is not simple to prepare for the game, we have prepared every game and had three postponed in a row. It is difficult to manage the situation with the players who had Covid. When you become negative, the player is not fit. We have to bring them slowly to their best.
"It is good to play today after two weeks, it was very difficult to go to Leicester and come back because the game was postponed.
"After two weeks to play for us is good because otherwise you lose the intensity, then on the other hand we have to be safe and for this reason the Premier League has to make the best decision, to make players and fans safe. Now we are having big problems, not only Tottenham but all the clubs in the Premier League."
Tottenham v Liverpool (16:30 GMT)
Liverpool
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, speaking to Sky Sports: "It might be the first Premier League start for Tyler Morton but it won't be the last!
"I am happy to play but the situation is really strange, you prepare your team but have no idea. We did lateral flows this morning and all fine.
"I think we have to fight through this, but next week if we lose another player and another player and then it is not possible. No one can just push through these things.
"It is really hard now, because they can yesterday be in and then positive. We talk about human beings and I am happy playing, but we need help."
Spurs v Liverpool (16:30 GMT)
We'll bring you reaction from those two games - and start building up to the next match.
Spurs play their first game in two weeks after a Covid outbreak of their own, as Liverpool look to go back within a point of Manchester City at the top.
Wolves 0-0 Chelsea
A terrible game that didn't deserve a goal or a winner.
Chelsea are now six points behind leaders Manchester City after a run of two wins in seven games.
Wolves are eighth, and could move up to seventh if Liverpool beat Spurs.
Wolves 0-0 Chelsea
Good block by Conor Coady to deny N'Golo Kante in the box and that might be it.
Wolves 0-0 Chelsea
Mason Mount runs behind down the right but then his low ball across the box is scooped up by Jose Sa.
Wolves 0-0 Chelsea
Thiago Silva judges a bounce well and heads away - otherwise Adama Traore was in.
Three minutes added on.
Newcastle 0-4 Man City
All over.
Eighth Premier League win in a row for Manchester City and Pep Guardiola's side will be top of the tree at Christmas.
Wolves 0-0 Chelsea
Wolves bring on Francisco Trincao for Raul Jimenez.
Wolves 0-0 Chelsea
Corner to Chelsea as Marcos Alonso's cross is blocked by Ki-Jana Hoever.
It comes into the box and Antonio Rudiger heads over from eight yards out. Another chance!
Newcastle 0-4 Man City
City fans to the Newcastle ones: "You should have gone Christmas shopping, gone Christmas shopping."
Newcastle 0-4 Man City
Nearly a five star showing but Cole Palmer cannot control and Martin Dubravka gobbles the ball up at the City teenager's feet.
Wolves 0-0 Chelsea
The fog is back. Imagine if after all this, there was a goal and nobody could see it.
Good defending by Antonio Rudiger to stop Adama Traore barging through.
Wolves 0-0 Chelsea
Wolves haven't had a shot since the 43rd minute. It's the 84th now.
Raheem Sterling (85 mins)
Icing on the cake.
Gabriel Jesus hasn't got a goal today but makes one by outmuscling Jacob Murphy and darting into the area.
He rolls the ball into the six yard box and Raheem Sterling has the easiest of tap-ins from a yard out.
Manchester City looking in ominous form, they've not got out of second gear either. Scary.
