Michael Ball: Just how bad is the standard of refereeing right now in the Premier League? The last two and a half games I have seen (Spurs twice and the Arsenal v City one today) makes me think officiating is at an all-time low.

Well done to Watford for keeping Spurs out in the first half but if they are to avoid relegation they need to show more ambition going forward. Draws at home will not be enough.

Watford are a much better attacking force in the second half. There has been more attacking play in the last ten minutes than in the first half and they'll get belief from that. Spurs will be cagey because they've not scored. The first goal is going to be more important than normal.

Harsh for spurs but they got the rub of the green v Saints, so can't complain when it swings the other way in the next game.

Referees need to start to be held accountable as they are in rugby and other sports with microphones and post match interviews. Arsenal have been robbed by poor officiating and inconsistency, as have Tottenham with clear penalty incidents. Greatest league in the world let down by some awful incidents that almost look scripted to create drama.

Son Heung-min has it at his feet in the box within seconds but he can't get a shot off.

Sergio Reguilón follows it up and hits it hard (hopefully more than anything else) and it deflects into the side-netting.
