Fabinho plays a lovely ball over to Diogo Jota. The angle is tight but he volleys it towards goal and Edouard Mendy makes a pretty decent diving save! The flag goes up for offside but that was marginal. He might have been on.

“At 1-1 it’s important to stay in the game and keep our discipline. We know we can create. Villa didn’t create an awful lot after we made it 2-1.
“It shouldn’t be possible that we’re above Villa with the amount of money they’ve spent on their squad in the last two or three years. I think they’re a good club, so the fact that we’re above them is quite good.
“It was a game that quite easily and maybe should have been a draw, but a game that we saw out in the end.”
On Mads Roerslev: “It’s a good story but a very good Brentford story. He’s suddenly made four or five Premier League starts. He deserves all the praise.”

There have been a lot of turning points. Chelsea could have gone 1-0 up but missed the chance through Pulisic. They’re right back in it now.
