Mo Salah's finish was a classic case of making something incredibly difficult look relatively easy. The mark of world class.

That is absolutely ridiculous from Mohamed Salah. It is unbelievable, you just have to see it.

It comes to one v one with Marcos Alonso, Alonso's thinking he's going to cut in on his left foot, but he just drops his left shoulder, which really twists Alonso and dinks it over the keeper. That is just ruthless.

The only other player I've seen do that drop of the shoulder as good as that it Lionel Messi.

Liverpool are full of fire now. They are pressing relentlessly. Chelsea are being hurried with every pass.

It comes out to Trent Alexander-Arnold on the edge of the box. He slices the half-volley and Virgil van Dijk goes for the header. It's a decent punch away from Edouard Mendy under pressure.

Curled in... Cesar Azpilicueta nods it behind. Another corner.

Tim: Great to see safe standing in the EPL! My local team in Norway has a standing section, usually filled up with the most diehard fans who sing for the entire game. Really adds to the atmosphere.

Liverpool coach Pep Ljinders is not exactly a shrinking violet even when he's standing behind Jurgen Klopp so you can imagine how animated he is now he is in charge today.

No quieter in the opposite dug-out where Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is very frantic. He has just performed a quite remarkable hop, skip and jump after Marcos Alonso volleyed wide.

Virgil van Dijk calls for Caoimhin Kelleher to come and shepherd the ball across the line under pressure from Kai Havertz. The keeper goes down softly and Chelsea want a corner but don't get one.

Mason Mount then picks out Marcos Alonso, who volleys it way over the bar. Thomas Tuchel was, er, fuming.
