City have picked up the intensity a little this half. Kevin de Bruyne looks back to Phil Foden on the left. He curls it over to Raheem Sterling but Stuart Armstrong tracks back to get an important head on it.

Brentford

Brentford boss Thomas Frank speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "That was quite a crazy game. I think if we look at the football, we started fantastic until the break with the drone and the two concussion things. I think we were brilliant, definitely the best team on the pitch. Aggressive, good on the break, but after that Wolves were better.

"We 100% didn’t deserve to lose at all, it’s at least a draw. They are the two chances we conceded in the game and both are outside the box. We are struggling to get points in this moment in time but the good news is that they are good performances."

On Mathias Jensen and Rico Henry’s head injuries: "They should be OK, Jensen is hopefully not concussion and Rico needs to be assessed."

On his own red card: "I will put my hands up, I tell my players to keep their emotions in check and not get stupid cards and of course that was stupid of me. The first yellow was for confronting a Wolves player and then I, irritated, turned around and he said it was too aggressive."

Kyle Walker fires it into Rodri on the edge of the box. He hits it into the ground on the half-volley and it bounces up off the ground, forcing Fraser Forster into a decent save.

Armando Broja then gets a crucial touch on the cross to turn it behind under pressure from Jack Grealish at the back post.

Wolves midfielder Joao Moutinho speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "Yeah I think we deserve for what we did against a good team, who play well physically. But I think we did our job, play well, create opportunities and we come here to win and that’s what’s important - we come out with the three points. We needed to go out because of the drone but after that we focus again on the game, we tried to do our job and I think we did our job."

On his goal: "I stay on the box and tried my luck and see the goalkeeper on one side and I put it in the other."

On qualifying for European competition: "We’re not far away but our target is to play game by game. It’s important because we know in this league - the best league in the world - every game is important we can lose, draw, or win no matter the team."

Wolves

Wolves manager Bruno Lage speaking to Match of the Day: "Strange things today but most importantly was that we came with personality, we came with consistency that we are doing in this month. It was a very good start of the year, three wins in the Premier League and one win in the [FA] cup and we come with the right mentality. So three points, good goals and I think we controlled the game with the ball that’s why I’m happy today with my boys."

On the drone: "Tried to understand what happened, tried to find the man who controlled the drone then we come inside and talk a little bit about the game. Sometimes we don’t have that time during the game to chat and we talked a little bit. I think it was a strange first half too many stops but I think in the second half, we started very well. We were the better team in the second half, we scored early, we controlled the game."

On Wolves’ goals: "I said in the beginning of the year that the goals will come because we are working very hard and also we have to understand what kind of players we have. We cannot be crossing the balls especially against them they are very good at defending the crosses. First goal it was very good and our second one the same."

On Adama Traore’s future: "I am very happy with him and I think he is very happy with us so he played 25 minutes and brings a lot of energy and scored the third [disallowed] goal to finish the game, you see the way he celebrate and he comes to me and we share a hug between us. I’m very happy with him."

Southampton lead at the break!

Southampton are penned in but they look so organised at the moment. City are struggling to find a way through and whenever they do, Southampton's defenders are throwing their bodies in the way.

Kyle Walker is the latest runner but his cross is blocked by Mohammed Salisu, who wins a goal kick off it too.
