Derby are the division's second-lowest scorers with just 18 to their name so far this campaign.

There's no doubt boss Wayne Rooney has his hands tied with the situation off the field at the club but he'll hope to see his charges be a bit more incisive in the second half of the season.

The visitors are on top of this one and finding pockets of space whenever they go forward.

They haven't been especially prolific this season though and they're yet to fashion a real clear chance in this one.

Steven McNamara: I'm a neutral here, but surely West Brom fans can't be happy with the football they play? They have some good footballers but Valerien Ismael makes Sam Allardyce's tactics look like Jurgen Klopp's. They're horrendous on the eye, horrendous. Come on Derby.

Crumbs, say what you mean, eh Steven?

Some anti-EFL chants from the home fans - followed by anti-Mel Morris ones.

Derby's former owner is clearly getting a lot of blame for the position the club finds itself in just now.

The club's administrators are trying to work their way through a host of problems. But they are hoping to be able to confirm a preferred bidder soon.

Derby are really going to need a big shift from their experienced skipper Curtis Davies today.

The 36-year-old wins a race against Grady Diangana down the Albion right to shepherd the ball out for a goal kick.

    Nicely done.

West Brom will go second with a victory here today.

Baggies boss Valerien Ismael is understood to be in the market for a new striker.

Adam Reach smashes a cross in after the visitors nick the ball on the halfway line but it's got way too much pace for Grady Diangana at the back post.

Derby win the first corner of the game down their right.

If you're just checking in, Derby are without first-team regulars Graeme Shinnie, Kamil Jozwiak, Phil Jagielka and Tom Lawrence because of Covid-19 protocols.

It's a very youthful Rams side out there today.

Jason Knight has their first effort of the day, using his body well to get away from Matt Clarke, but his shot flies into the stand.

These are tough times to be a Derby fan.

The Rams were placed in administration at the start of the season and have subsequently been deducted 21 points.

They start today's match 17 points adrift of safety at the bottom of the table and relegation to the third tier sadly appears to be a mere formality.

Worse still, a prospective takeover of the club by US businessman Chris Kirchner was called off on Christmas Eve.

Kirchner, one of three prospective buyers, ended his interest on Friday, with the club's administrators saying an announcement on an alternative preferred bidder is "imminent".

The businessman said he had made the decision "with real sadness".
