It won't have escaped your attention that yesterday's Boxing Day fixture list was considerably lighter than usual.

Unfortunately, Covid-19 cases meant the majority of games scheduled to be played in the EFL on 26 December had to be postponed.

With the quick turnaround between games at this time of year sadly a lot of matches due to be played in the coming days are now also going the same way, with the League Two clash between Harrogate and Mansfield being called off in the last few minutes.

Click here to see the which games have already been postponed.

Across the next five or so hours we'll do our best to keep you up to date with any more postponements.

A brief consultation with the calendar informs me that today is, somewhat surprisingly, a Monday.

Always difficult to navigate this hinterland between Christmas and new year isn't it? Fortunately we've got two great Championship matches to bring you this afternoon and evening that should keep the day moving along quite nicely.

First up beleaguered Derby host a West Brom side who will go second with a win, and then play-off hopefuls QPR welcome an out-of-form Bournemouth side who, despite their recent travails, will go top of the tree with victory.

Good afternoon and welcome to live coverage of *checks calendar again* Monday's Championship action.
