Craig: Swindon back 3 haven't settled & look nervous. What doesn't help, is a keeper making errors, plus the inability to take a goal kick. too much dithering & will almost be booked for time wasting at some point. Still hope, maybe bring on Williams.

City's attitude toward the job in front of them has been absolutely first class.

They have world class players working their socks off, not just when they have the ball but when they don't have the ball.

There goes the whistle for half time.

Manchester City are firmly on course to avoiding an FA Cup upset.

Almost an absolute peach of a goal by Joao Cancelo as he hits a thunderous strike from outside the box that is so close it looks like it has just crept inside the post, but it is into the sidenetting.

There's just the one minute of time added on.

Swindon are always going to have that chance. At 2-0, if Swindon get a goal back then it will be game on.

Swindon do look somewhat dangerous when they hit it long and suddenly Harry McKirdy is running at the Manchester City defence. The forward has a lot to do and his shot is blocked by Joao Cancelo as he runs into a crowd of City players.

The County Ground was rocking at the start of this game but the atmosphere is understandably a bit more subdued now - both because of the two City goals and because there's a mass departure to the concourses to be first in the queue for half time pies.

Good defending by Manchester City as Kyle Walker thumps behind Jordan Lyden's dangerous ball from the right.

Gabriel Jesus then heads away the corner. Decent moment from Swindon, though.

Bernardo Silva just wants the ball all the time. He is making himself available at every opportunity, here he is now cropping up on the right, playing it back inside and then running into the box to collect a through ball but he can't quite bundle his way through the defence.

Ironic cheers from the crowd as Lewis Ward this time hits the ball long rather than playing it short to his defence.

The ball soon ends up back to him anyway, but rather that than in the back of the net.

Joao Cancelo spots Bernardo Silva peeling away from the Swindon defence and plays the ball into the box. Silva's shot is saved but the flag is up for offside anyway.

A miscommunication at the back gifts Manchester City another corner. Kevin de Bruyne finds Rodri unmarked but his downward header is into a group of Swindon players.

Cole Palmer has been excellent so far in this game and he shows great skill to knock the ball past the Swindon full-back on the right and then crosses into the middle of the box but Swindon clear.

Zack Steffen then makes a mess of playing it out from the back as he passes it straight to Harry McKirdy but the keeper is able to hold the Swindon forward's attempted lob.

If you give it away, a team of this quality will punish you. And that is what Manchester City have done.

Oooh a bit of panic at the back from Manchester City as a long ball gets in behind Joao Cancelo, Tyreece Simpson's touch is poor but the ball runs through and Harry McKirdy is almost onto it but Zack Steffen just gets there first.

The hosts then have a free kick on the right but it is cleared.

Kyle Walker fizzes the ball in from the right but he puts too much power behind it and it goes ahead of his team-mates and out for a goalkick.

The pressure is only momentarily relieved as Swindon are caught out trying to play out from the back but Kevin de Bruyne's low strike is straight at Lewis Ward in the Swindon goal.

There's more defending for Swindon to do as Ilkay Gundogan's ball into the box deflects off a defender and loops into the air and down just in front of goal where, fortunately for the hosts, it falls to a player in a red shirt first and Swindon clear.

Bernardo Silva is unplayable at the moment as he pounces on a poor header back to the Swindon goal and is through but smashes just over the bar.

That was far too easy. It was a great move from the kid Cole Palmer - great ability and he has picked out Silva.

It was an up hill battle before the game even started, it will be even harder now for Swindon.
