Former Shrewsbury Town manager Sam Ricketts knows more than most what problems the club could cause Liverpool this afternoon.

The League One side managed to get a 2-2 result in January 2020 undr Ricketts.

He told BBC Radio 5 Live: "As a player you want to test yourself against the best and it's the same as a manager.

"To come out with a 2-2 result was amazing and it gave everyone connected to Shrewsbury a buzz.

"You try and keep the players calm. You need to give them hope and opportunity. It's a good occasion but it only is if you're happy with your performance."

Hundreds of Morecambe fans are making the trip to London to cheer on their side at Tottenham - the first competitive match between the clubs.

This is just Morecambe’s third FA Cup tie against Premier League opposition, with the Shrimps losing 3-0 against Ipswich in January 2001, and 4-0 against Chelsea at this stage last season.

No fans were allowed to watch the tie last year at Chelsea because of Covid restrictions but there will be lots of noise for the League One club at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Will there be an upset at Stoke where the Championship club host League Two Leyton Orient?

The Potters have not won an FA Cup tie for SIX YEARS since beating Doncaster Rovers in the third round on 9 January 2016.

Orient, who are managed by Kenny Jackett, are 10th in the fourth tier and are looking to reach the fourth round for the first time since 2011.

They are unchanged from last Sunday's 1-0 win at home to Sheffield Wednesday when the only goal of the game scored by former Evertonian Matthew Pennington extended their unbeaten league run to 10 points from their last four matches.

It's a huge day for League One Morecambe as they get ready to take on eight-time FA Cup winners Tottenham.

Spare a thought for Shrimps boss Stephen Robinson, a former Spurs player.

The Morecambe boss has tested positive for Covid-19 and misses the trip back to his old club.

Portuguese teenager Fabio Silva is in for Raul Jimenez up front for Wolves as they face Sheffield United.

Kyron Gordon makes his third appearance for Sheffield United, who also start with Sander Berge in midfield.

Norwich make five changes to the side beaten by Crystal Palace in their last game in December, with Tim Krul, Grant Hanley, Ozan Kabak, Kieran Dowell and Josh Sergent all fit to return.
