    Dungannon Swifts 3-2 Carrick Rangers

Dungannon have their noses in front for the THIRD time in this game and it is another in a series of quality finishes this afternoon.

This time it's Darragh McBrien who applies the finishing touch after playing a one-two.

A very competitive and entertaining match. Could Carrick possibly equalise for a third time? They have eight minutes left to do it.

    Dungannon Swifts 2-2 Carrick Rangers

Carrick draw themselves level for the second time in this game - the ball falls invitingly for Jordan Gibson and he drills the ball into the Dungannon net.

Less than 15 minutes for either side to find a winner.

  3. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:35 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2022

    Crusaders 0-1 Glenavon

Crusaders openings have been few and far between but a gilt-edged one has passed them by as Johnny McMurray gets the ball into the path of Billy Joe Burns.

The defender strikes his shot well enough inside the penalty area but James Taylor is off his line quickly to block the effort with an outstretched hand.

The Glenavon keeper hasn't had a huge amount to do but he was more than equal to the task there.

  4. Linfield double substitionpublished at 16:35 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2022

    Coleraine 2-0 Linfield

Two more subs from Linfield manager David Healy as Conor Pepper and Andrew Clarke come on for Jordan Stewart and Michael Newberry.

  5. goal

GOALpublished at 16:33 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2022

    Coleraine 2-0 Linfield

    Coleraine have a second!

It's Matthew Shevlin with a clever turn inside the box and and a superb finish past Chris Johns.

That was top notch centre-forward play and a huge goal.

Can Linfield respond? It's now or never if they are to rescue something from this match.

  6. goal

GOALpublished at 16:31 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2022

    Dungannon Swifts 2-1 Carrick Rangers

Dungannon take the lead in the 75th minute and it's a second of the game for Rhyss Campbell.

Substitute Ben Gallagher provided the killer pass which sent Campbell through one-on-one with Matthew Skeet and he rifled a low drilled shot into the bottom corner.

A beautiful clinical finish from Campbell, which has put his side in the driving seat with 15 minutes left.

We have said a few times today how isolated Ethan Devine has look up front on his own but he now has young Chris McKee on alongside him. It will be interesting to see if the two young strikers can combine and find an equaliser for Linfield. These last 20 minutes or so could tell us a lot about the Blues' squad depth.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 16:29 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2022

    Glentoran 1-0 Warrenpoint Town

Glentoran captain Marcus Kane returns to action after a lengthy injury lay-off, replacing Sean Murray.

Shay McCartan and Rory Donnelly are also introduced for Jay Donnelly and Conor McMenamin.

  9. Mitchell on for debutpublished at 16:27 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2022

    Coleraine 1-0 Linfield

Andy Mitchell is on for his Coleraine debut.

He replaces fellow former Glentoran striker Curtis Allen.

There's a change for Linfield, too, as young striker Chris McKee comes on for Kyle McClean.

    Crusaders 0-1 Glenavon

Glenavon look really menacing on the counter-attack and from one such break, Matthew Fitzpatrick is played in on the right hand side of the penalty area.

The striker makes good enough contact with his shot but his effort is well blocked by the outstretched leg of Jonny Tuffey.

Had that gone in, it would be a very long way back for Crusaders.

  11. Postpublished at 16:18 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2022

    Dungannon Swifts 1-1 Carrick Rangers

Lloyd Anderson has come closest to adding to the scoring at Stangmore but he couldn't find the target.

Declan Dunne has also denied Ben Tilney to keep Dungannon on level terms.

It's cagey enough stuff so far this 45.

  12. Postpublished at 16:18 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2022

    Glentoran 1-0 Warrenpoint Town

What a chance for Glentoran to double the lead as Rhys Marshall escapes his man at the back post, but he blasts the ball into the side-netting!

The Glens are having to exercise patience in the search for a second here. Warrenpoint are keeping their shape well.

  13. Perfect from Peterpublished at 16:06 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2022

    Crusaders 0-1 Glenavon

Peter Campbell heads Glenavon in front - and thankfully avoids serious injury after colliding with the post.

    Glentoran 1-0 Warrenpoint Town

    Intriguing 45 minutes ahead.

If it stays this way, the Glens are heading to the top with Coleraine beating Linfield!

  15. Postpublished at 16:04 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2022

    Crusaders 0-1 Glenavon

Jordan Owens is on as a half-time substitute for Crusaders - but within 30 seconds, the striker is trudging towards the touchline for treatment to a cut after a clash of heads with James Singleton.

At the other end, Matthew Fitzpatrick spins but his low shot is comfortable held by Jonny Tuffey.

A second Glenavon goal would give Crusaders a real mountain to climb.

  17. 'I fear for Warrenpoint'published at 15:56 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2022

    Glentoran 1-0 Warrenpoint Town

    Glenn Ferguson
Former Linfield and Glenavon striker on Sportsound

Glentoran have probably had about 85% of the play. They were patient. Point made it difficult, but Plum has delivered a great free-kick into the box for McDaid. The young Warrenpoint keeper has done well, but the bounce of the ball has beaten him on that occasion. I fear for Warrenpoint, they don't have much quality to create anything. I can only see Glentoran scoring more.

    Crusaders 0-1 Glenavon

Crusaders keeper Jonny Tuffey gets the better of Glenavon's Peter Campbell in this attack - but it's the Lurgan Blues winger who has notched the only goal of the game so far.

  19. Healy needs to do something - Majorpublished at 15:53 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2022

    Quote Message

I think 1-0 to Coleraine is a fair scoreline so far as they have just edged it. We have talked about how good both sides are defensively but there has been a lack of creativity going forward from both sides. David Healy does not have many options from the bench to change things but he needs to do something.

  20. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:52 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2022

    Dungannon Swifts 1-1 Carrick Rangers

All square at Stangmore at the break which reflects a fairly evenly contested opening 45 minutes.
