  3. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2022

    Coleraine 1-0 Linfield

That Lyndon Kane penalty in the 11th minute separates the sides at the break.

It was a strongly disputed spot-kick but Kane wasn't bothered as he hammered it home confidently.

It's been pretty poor for the most part from Linfield who have looked toothless in attack and failed to create any chances of note.

Big half-time team talk coming up for David Healy.

  5. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2022

    Crusaders 0-1 Glenavon

A low-key first 45 minutes ends with Glenavon in front thanks to Peter Campbell's early effort.

Crusaders, in response, have forced a succession of corners but Lurgan Blues keeper James Taylor has yet to be overly-exerted.

Gary Hamilton will be very happy with his side's first half display.

  6. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2022

    Glentoran 1-0 Warrenpoint Town

Robbie McDaid's header separates the sides at the break. Stephen McMullan has conjured some fine saves for the visitors, but he could nothing to stop McDaid's effort wriggling past him after 39 minutes.

Glentoran, as expected, are bossing possession, but Point have showed a decent level of threat on the counter.

They're certainly not out of this one yet.

    Glentoran 1-0 Warrenpoint Town

An absolutely brilliant save from Stephen McMullan denies Sean Murray, whose venomous right-footed drive from 20 yards looked destined for the top corner!

The 17-year-old is having a good game in the Point goal.

  8. Millar forces a save from Deanepublished at 15:42 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2022

    Coleraine 1-0 Linfield

Linfield finally have a shot at goal.

It was from distance and came from Kirk Millar. It looked like it was going wide, but keeper Gareth Deane got across to get down and make the save just to be sure.

    Glentoran 1-0 Warrenpoint Town

Robbie McDaid's header opens the scoring at the Oval after 39 minutes!

Hrvoje Plum with a superb free-kick from the right. McDaid rises highest and, despite Stephen McMullan's best efforts, the striker's downward header finds the bottom corner.

  10. Healy not happypublished at 15:40 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2022

    Coleraine 1-0 Linfield

Linfield manager David Healy has not looked happy throughout most of this half and has voiced his displeasure to the fourth official on numerous occasions.

His team aren't firing this afternoon, that's for sure. They are still well in this game, of course, but have yet to test their former keeper Gareth Deane in the Coleraine goal.

  11. goal

GOALpublished at 15:39 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2022

    Dungannon Swifts 1-1 Carrick Rangers

Three minutes after Dungannon's opener, Carrick draw level.

The ball is thrown into the box and bounces handily for Kyle Cherry, who fires under Declan Dunne to equalise.

This game has really sparked into life in the space of just a few minutes.

  12. goal

GOALpublished at 15:37 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2022

  13. Couple of yellows as Blues yet to respondpublished at 15:35 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2022

    Coleraine 1-0 Linfield

A player from each team has gone into the referee's notebook, with Linfield's Kyle McClean and Rodney Brown of Coleraine being shown the yellow card.

It's been a bit flat for most of the game at the Showgrounds, with Linfield yet to really properly respond to falling behind to that Lyndon Kane penalty.

Given the change in personnel at Windsor Park last summer and the number of experienced players that left Linfield, you'd have thought manager David Healy would have bitten your hand off to be in the position they are in at this stage of the season. That said, though, Linfield just look a bit light on numbers at the minute.

Matthew Carson delivers a rasping drive from the edge of the area but again his effort is just off-target.

Close to a debut goal for Carson.

Glentoran are really piling the pressure on now!

A few moments ago, Bobby Burns did well to dig a cross out from the left. It found Jay Donnelly, too, but the striker failed to connect.

Donnelly, typically sharp and full of running up top, almost finds Robbie McDaid with his own dangerous low cross from the left before the Glens top scorer forces another save from Stephen McMullan with a volley from the edge of the area.

Point are doing well to hold on!

    Coleraine 1-0 Linfield

    Was this the right decision?

Either way, Lyndon Kane was never going to miss from 12 yards!

Rhyss Campbell is the next player to go close for Dungannon with a right-foot shot which flies across goal.

Turning into an entertaining enough contest this. An opening goal may not be far away you feel.

    Dungannon Swifts 0-0 Carrick Rangers

Twenty minutes gone and it's all pretty frantic at the moment.

Carrick have the advantage of the strong breeze in the first half and Kyle Cherry has seen his effort whistle narrowly wide of the target.

Darragh McBrien's 20-yard shot was just off-target for Swifts.

    Crusaders 0-1 Glenavon

Some slick movement from Crusaders sees Jordan Forsythe slip a pass into the path of Ben Kennedy on the left-hand side of the penalty area but the in-form attacker's first time shot whistles inches past the far post.

Almost a quick response for the hosts to that early setback of conceding that Peter Campbell goal.
