Matty: This game is proving what we all knew. Arsenal are good enough to play football with the best teams in the world, but the best teams are a lot more clinical than us. Signs of progress and still favourites for top four whatever happens here.

Chris: Liverpool to win the league. Everton to be relegated. Imagine the scenes in Liverpool if this happens.

    Roberto Firmino (63 mins)

He's not been on long but Roberto Firmino has doubled Liverpool's lead with a potentially huge goal in the title race.

Firmino gets it on the byline a few moments earlier and his cut-back for Mo Salah sees his shot blocked.

Liverpool keep it alive on the far side with Andy Robertson, who cuts it back and Firmino gets there first to help it into the far corner.

    FT: Brighton 0-2 Tottenham

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham forward Harry Kane: "It was a great performance coming to a tough place. Brighton are a really good team and play good football. We got ahead in the game and then I think we controlled it. Overall it was a really good night away from home.

"Sometimes you need a bit of luck to go your way to break the deadlock and that's what happened and from there we controlled it.

"I was really pleased to get the goal and help the team win the match. Milestones are great especially away from home, it is always tough so to know you can do it year-on-year against tough opposition is nice but it is all about the team and working hard.

"We played good football we just have to keep winning games."

On playing West Ham next: "West Ham are right there in the top-four chase, it will be a really tough game and it is really important for momentum going into the international break."

Granit Xhaka waits for the ball to arrive at his feet and Joel Matip comes in a bit too sharply from behind.

Free-kick to Arsenal. They take it quickly but Gabriel Martinelli's pass to Alexandre Lacazette is JUST too heavy. Liverpool were napping! He'd have been in!

    Diogo Jota (55 mins)

    BIG goal!

Liverpool have the breakthrough they craved. Diogo Jota is away on the left, the angle is tight and Aaron Ramsdale should do better.

Jota won't care though as he drills it through the keeper and it nestles into the far corner.
