Leeds United

Leeds boss Jesse Marsch, speaking to BBC Sport: "It was a real fight. Southampton play intensely. I know the coach well and he has done a good job with his team. It is a pretty tight game trying to find big chances.

"For the most part I thought we defended well. We were organised. Maybe in the last phase of the match we were unlucky not to find more.

"The group is confident. They are committed top playing the way I would like them to play. Our work every day is fantastic, I really like being here with this team.

"I think we are only going to grow and get better. In terms of tactically and how I want a game to look like that was one of our better performances."

Southampton

Southampton boss Ralph Hassenhuttl, speaking to BBC Sport: "It was an intense game and a bit ping pong in some moments. I think in the end we had the better chances to win it. We had the better parts of our game. It was a step forward for us that in such an intense game we had the chance to win it."

On James Ward-Prowse goal: "It won't be the last one he scores for sure, he is too good for this. Important goal for us. The rest was OK today I think. We had our chances and didn't give many chances away.

"Very important result after a tough run of tight games, to come back with a draw here.

"We had a good break, we were fresh today. We have eight games to go and it is a good chance to finish the season in the top 10 but every week is a good challenge."

Burnley

Burnley boss Sean Dyche to Sky Sports; "In the second half we got a bit of a foothold in the game. Perhaps they eased a bit but we were more fluid, tried to press higher and get on the front foot and I was pleased with aspects of that.

"We know that historically it's difficult for sides like us to win these types of games - we've done it - but It's important that we refind ourselves in games like this because the next game comes around so quickly.

"If it goes down to the wire, then that's what it does."

Beth: United look like they don’t have a game plan or have any idea what they’re doing individually. I don’t get the tactics. We need Rashford on.

Leeds United

Leeds boss Jesse Marsch, speaking to Sky Sports: "I don't think we are overly satisfied but we understood when we went into this match it would be intense and about second balls and duels. You have to deal with a lot of set pieces and a lot of throws.

"Our team is getting better and better. Our confidence is getting better. Overall I am OK with the point and pleased with the performance.

"As the game went on we pushed hard. The substitutes came on and made a difference. We were unlucky not to find a second goal."

Southampton

Southampton boss Ralph Hassenhuttl, speaking to Sky Sports: "We didn't want to give them the chance to win the ball in our half. I think we had the better chances today, we should win this kind of game. Normally we are more clinical but it is a good step for us.

"It was a tough game for the referee. In the end the draw for them it was a good result but for us I think there was more possible.

"You are never 100% safe from counters because they have a lot of quality and speed but in the end I don't think we gave them a lot of chances.

"The momentum was on our side after half time. We had the bigger chances."

Wolves

Wolves manager Bruno Lage said: "One more great performance from us, especially in the first half. We were creating a lot of chances and I thought we were the better team and we played the game the way we wanted.

"It's hard to play against them but we were there. There's things we need to improve and when you're winning 2-0 and have chances to kill the game, we should've killed the game.

"I'm very happy with everyone. Against Leeds we were winning 2-0 (and lost 3-2) and it was the same situation. We're creating chances and didn't score goals.

"We need to continue to work and we should score more goals."

Aston Villa

Aston Villa manager Steven Gerrard said: "At the end we were in a position where we had nothing to lose but we put ourselves in a really difficult place in the match with our first-half performance.

"We were second best and the game could have been dead and buried at half time. We were arguably better in the second half but we can't keep gifting goals - this league is unforgiving.

"I just said to the players, 'I thought this was a local derby, where we had to come out of the blocks and have a war from the first minute'. But we only started having a war in the 70th minute and it was too late, but we've only got ourselves to blame.

"Their goalkeeper has made two or three world-class saves but we've gifted two really poor goals and you can't afford to do that. We conceded a really poor goal and then had a real wobble.

"Wolves were sharper, more aggressive and they knew it was a derby and we didn't realise we were in a derby until the second half and beyond. I can't put my frustrations into words."

Sho: People will say at half time "United have been disappointing". There's nothing disappointing, this is our level. We've played like this all season. I don't get how people act surprised anymore at these pathetic performances. We're 6th for a reason.

Brentford

Brentford boss Thomas Frank, speaking to Sky Sports: "I am still [pinching myself] a bit. I said in the pre-match press conference if we beat them it would be the biggest result of the season and we've gone and done it.

"It's maybe not a 4-1 win but it's fully deserved. It was a top performance and I'm extremely proud.

"There is so much pain in football so it's important the fans enjoy this."

On Christian Eriksen: "The way he presents himself on and off the pitch is very impressive. I said to him after he scored for Denmark that I hope he's saved some goals for Brentford and he has."

Finishing the season: "We want to try and end the season as high as possible. We will try and enjoy this for 24 hours and go again. I will have a nice glass of red wine tonight."

Manchester United need a focus to their attacking. Leicester are not playing well but they have more incisiveness about them.

The second-half has to be better than this.

Norwich City

Norwich boss Dean Smith speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "It wasn't a thriller by any means, it was a game littered with mistakes and unforced errors. They had an awful lot of shots from outside the penalty box. People talk about making the last game on Match of the Day, I'm not even sure it makes Match of the Day!

"Tim [Krul] has still got it; he was fantastic. We defended our box really well, Grant [Hanley] was a leader in the box. We've recruited a team that can p[lay good football, but we are looking like we've got a lack of confidence at the moment. Hopefully, breaking the sequence of defeats can help us moving forward but we were missing nine players today. It wasn't too much of a surprise.

"Hopefully that is a point towards safety. We've got to keep working hard."
