Scoring goals has been a problem for Everton this season.

Before that, they had scored just one goal in four matches in all competitions.

Striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin has failed to score in all nine Premier League appearances in 2022.

While Richarlison - who is Everton's top scorer in the league at Goodison Park this season with three goals - has not scored at home since December.

Forward Danny Ings will return for Aston Villa after missing the Wolves loss because of the birth of his child.

Defenders Kortney Hause and Lucas Digne should also be available, while Marvelous Nakamba will return to the squad after four months out.

Tottenham wing-back Sergio Reguilon returns from a knee injury but this game comes too soon for Ryan Sessegnon.

Midfielder Oliver Skipp has suffered a relapse of his hip issue while Japhet Tanganga is out for the season.

Manchester United have won only three of their last 11 matches in all competitions (drawing six, losing two).

But they have not lost many under Ralf Rangnick. Out of the 16 Premier League games he has been in charge, United have lost just two.

They have scored in 21 consecutive away games in all competitions but can they keep a clean sheet for the first time since February?

Michael Keane and Allan return from suspension, while experienced pair Seamus Coleman and Fabian Delph are also brought back in as Jonjoe Kenny, Abdoulaye Doucoure, Jarrad Branthwaite and Mason Holgate drop to the bench.

I watched Everton in their defeat by Burnley on Wednesday and there is nothing wrong with their effort and attitude. They work extremely hard and you can see what it means to them.

Unfortunately for the Toffees, they are lacking quality when it matters - at both ends.

There is still hope for Everton, though, starting on Saturday. Their home form means they will be more confident at Goodison and Manchester United are still horribly inconsistent.

United are the better team, but Everton have to treat this like a cup tie and throw everything at it.

Prediction: 1-1

Arsenal will be without Thomas Partey after the midfielder sustained a thigh injury in the defeat to Crystal Palace.

Ecuador midfielder Moses Caicedo is back in contention after illness while Jakub Moder is a long-term absentee.

The battle for European qualification is hotting up as Chelsea, Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester United are all in action today.

Third-placed Chelsea have a five-point lead over Spurs, who are level on points with rivals Arsenal.

Manchester United have played a game extra than Arsenal but can go level on points, at least for a few hours, if they beat Everton in the early kick-off.
