  4. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 76 mins

    Everton 1-0 Man Utd

Anthony Gordon goes down in the box and there's appeals for a penalty from the Gwladys Street end. Alex Telles was nearby and it looked more like a tangle of legs than anything. Nothing from VAR.

A word of consolation to Man Utd fans - things can change very quickly in football. Last season my team (Spurs) were written off and the talk was needing a total rebuild. A good manager can transform a team. Incidentally why you never went Conte is a complete mystery.

    Michael Brown
Former Manchester City midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Manchester United are controlling possession in the middle areas but the play is far too slow, they're allowing Everton to get in a 4-5-1 and just be really comfortable out of possession. They've got to improve the tempo and create something - they've not been good enough in this game so far.

Phil Raynor: Supporting Man Utd is like being in bad relationship. I want to leave but stay because, despite not being in love, I still love them...even though I causes much misery.

I've been supporting United since 1976 and frankly I've had enough. We're making Everton look like a good team rather than a team drowning in the Premier League. United players should hang their heads in shame.
