Middlesbrough are going out bar an extraordinary comeback but the home fans are very much enjoying themselves and seem particularly appreciative of their side's efforts in this half.
The Championship side, even with minutes left, are continuing to plug away to try and at least get a consolation.
Middlesbrough 0-2 Chelsea
Chelsea defender Thiago Silva has been named the man of the match, which probably says how well Boro have done.

It's been a very Thomas Tuchel, Chelsea-like performance, the manner of the control they've had. They've not always had complete control of the ball, Middlesbrough have had periods of pressure, but Chelsea have seen it through without any real great alarm.
That's just the way they've been winning games of late, apart from the Burnley game, when they got a few goals in quick succession.

Overall I think it has been a good showing from Romelu Lukaku.
There's no doubt that Chelsea are not seeing the Inter Milan version of Lukaku just yet, but it is difficult to put your finger on why.
Is it the individual? The make up of the team? The formation? It is a bit of a mystery. But he has done a lot of good work today.

Chelsea keeper Edouard Mendy has played well today without needing to make a save. He claws away Duncan Watmore's cross before somebody can bundle it in.

Sean Sutton: Fair play to Middlesbrough, they are not going down without a fight here. If they get the next goal, we're in for a grandstand finish.

Chelsea bring on Kenedy, who I can only imagine has been cryogenically frozen for the last four years, for goalscorer Hakim Ziyech.

Chance for Chelsea as Mason Mount's cross is blocked by Isaiah Jones and Timo Werner's shot is stopped by Sol Bamba's outstreched leg.

Chris Williams: I understand that teams had to spend millions to win trophies but when Arsenal and Man United were fighting it out in the early days of the premier league they didn’t have rich foreign billionaire owners who could by who they want.

Great to see Timo Werner on the pitch.

Chelsea keeper Edouard Mendy does well to stop Matt Crooks' deflected pass from going for a corner. If Boro win a corner the noise levels will go sky high.

People shouldn't complain about English clubs having wealthy owners as the investment in youth facilities by their owners has provided England with a competitive team finally.

There is still a lot of work for Chelsea to do.
You can only imagine what a Middlesbrough goal will do to this place, it's already lively.
