It took Palace a bit of time to get into the game and get the young players hurting people.

Everton are just walking in and all their heads are down, they could come back out and score and get back into the game but I don't see that at the moment.

They started well and then capitulated with gaps all over the pitch. I think Frank Lampard has got to make some changes and not wait, bring them on after half-time.

Palace have a healthy lead in the FA Cup quarter-final.

Jean-Philippe Mateta doesn't give it up and he wins a free 50-50 tackles. Eventually, Wilfried Zaha curls a cross way out for a goal kick.

But Jean-Philippe Mateta HAS to hit this first time. Michael Olise heads it on to him in the middle and he's through.

Mateta has so much space to shoot but he wants the extra touch and Coleman hurries back to make a goal-saving sliding tackle.

Mateta knows he had to hit it. Huge chance gone begging.

Jean-Phillippe Mateta has got cult hero status at Crystal Palace for the goals he has scored against their rivals and his celebration where he scissor kicks the corner flag after scoring. When he connected with the corner flag then the cheer was nearly as loud as when the ball hit the back of the net.

Jack Bedlam: Good Palace goal but absolutely basic defending,no one tracking runners,easy finish for Mateta. Nice assist from Zaha though.

Anthony Gordon comes in with a heavy challenge and gets a talking to from the referee.

What a goal!

Shocking defending from Everton but let's talk about Crystal Palace. Wilfried Zaha, Eberechi Eze, all interchanging. Zaha cuts it back brilliantly, finds Jean-Philippe Mateta and he keeps it low and powerful and it's just the centre of the goal but because it's low the keeper can't get there. That's a really difficult shot for the goalkeeper to get to.

Despite that impressive start for Everton, they are heading into the break 2-0 down having had Andros Townsend going off injured.

Decent effort.

Seamus Coleman plays a lovely ball over the top for Richarlison. He gets a yard of space then pokes it towards goal but Jack Butland is comfortable.

Wilfried Zaha gives chase to a lost cause but Jordan Pickford has to come out of his area to kick it and Zaha's pressure means he skews it out for a throw-in inside his own half.

Another corner for Everton. Headed wide by Ben Godfrey.

Jean-Philippe Mateta makes a great run in behind and fires it into the box from the byline.

He picks out Wilfried Zaha, who connects with it well but it's inches past the post. Oooft!

Demarai Gray curls in an Everton free-kick. It's aimed towards Mason Holgate at the back post but he's well offside.

Palace have definitely found their step now. Jean-Philippe Mateta and Wilfried Zaha link-up before finding Conor Gallagher. He fires it into the box but it's cleared at the near post by Everton's defence.

It can't get much better for Marc Guehi at the moment, a first senior England call-up and now he heads Crystal Palace in front in the FA Cup quarter final. The home fans are bouncing!

The momentum has shifted and Crystal Palace have capitalised on it. It's a brilliant corner whipped in. Everton are zonal marking and when you do that you're not close to players. No-one is picking Marc Guehi up. He just heads it into the far corner and Jordan Pickford had no chance. Everton started brilliantly, had lots of set pieces and now they're 1-0 down.
