    Less than 24 hours ago Sarina Wiegman had the England players in a room individually to break the news on whether they had been selected for the 23-player Euros squad or not.

    Those remaining tonight have all made the cut so I wondered how quickly they would be able to come down from the high of hearing the good news.

    "The players will manage their own emotions," said Wiegman. "It brings relaxation, but not for the game."

    Manchester United youngsters Ella Toone and Alessia Russo were in tears yesterday as they reflected on their journey together through the youth teams.

    Goalkeeper Hannah Hampton was one of nine players to be selected for her first major tournament... She only made her debut in February!
