It was a day when Manchester City and Chelsea followed Arsenal's lead from Friday night by cruising into the semis with comfortable wins and dominant second-half performances.

Thanks for joining us - we'll be back with more action on Wednesday night as Arsenal meet Wolfsburg in the Champions League quarter-final first leg while Manchester City and Chelsea host Everton and Tottenham respectively in the WSL.

    Chelsea 5-0 Birmingham

The holders are in the last four.

A dynamic second-half display blows Birmingham away as Chelsea cruise through.

The visitors coped well in the first half but Magdalena Eriksson's goal just before half-time opened the floodgates.

Beth England added two while Drew Spence and Niamh Charles contributed a goal and assist apiece in a dominant display from last season's double winners.

Free-kick out wide right for Birmingham as they bid to find a consolation.

It's not a bad effort when the ball breaks clear as Lisa Robertson lets fly from 25 yards but Ann-Katrin Berger is well placed to save.

Libby Smith then threatens to surge clear for the visitors but Jess Carter makes an excellently-timed tackle to preserve the Chelsea clean sheet.

Beth England breaks clear down the right, seeking her hat-trick.

Spotting Marie Hourihan off her line, she attempts a lob but it's deflected wide by a back-tracking defender.

    Chelsea 5-0 Birmingham

Birmingham would like the whistle now, you imagine.

A consolation goal would be better but a free-kick is easily collected by Chelsea's former City keeper Ann-Katrin Berger.

Alsu Abdullina threatens to add a sixth goal for Chelsea but curls straight at Marie Hourihan from just inside the box at the other end.

    That strike isn't though.

Beth England grabs her second of the game, arrowing a classy 20-yard finish into the bottom corner out of the goalkeeper's reach.

It's almost six straight from the restart as Lauren James surges through but is foiled by a last-ditch tackle just as she pulls the trigger.

This is a question of how many now.

Beth England meets a corner under pressure and the ball loops up off her shoulder.

Niamh Charles is perfectly placed to meet the dropping ball with a looping header over City keeper Marie Hourihan.

    Beth England (62 mins)

    Oh, this is special.

Ji So-yun spots Drew Spence making a run into the area and threads through a smart pass.

Spence takes a touch and tries to round Birmingham keeper Marie Hourihan but realises the angle will be too tight so she produces a delicious backheel to give Beth England a tap-in into an empty net. Sublime.

    There's an answer now. Hello.

Chelsea's patience in moving the Birmingham defence from one side to the other pays off.

Niamh Charles has space on the right of the box to pick out Drew Spence and she sweeps a delightful first-time finish into the far corner from around 15 yards. Beautiful strike.
