  1. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 13:00 Greenwich Mean Time 20 March 2022

    Ipswich 0-0 West Ham

Two fantastic pieces of goalkeeping from Ipswich stopper Sarah Quantrill.

First, she tips aside a 20-yard Halle Houssein shot that took an evil bounce.

Then, from the corner, Quantrill superbly tips Lucy Parker's header onto the bar and Ipswich scramble it clear.

  2. Postpublished at 12:59 Greenwich Mean Time 20 March 2022

    Ipswich 0-0 West Ham

Cool as a cucumber, Grace Fisk at the back for West Ham.

Under pressure from two chasing Ipswich attackers, Fisk coolly nutmegs one to avert any danger.

Ipswich growing in confidence though here.

  3. Postpublished at 12:57 Greenwich Mean Time 20 March 2022

    Ipswich 0-0 West Ham

Danger for the underdogs as Abbey-Leigh Stringer's deep free-kick is headed back across goal by Grace Fisk but there are no Hammers players in the area it lands.

Ipswich clear and it remains goalless with more than half of the opening 45 minutes played.

  4. GREAT SAVE!published at 12:55 Greenwich Mean Time 20 March 2022

    Man City 0-0 Everton

City are getting closer and closer to the day's opening goal.

A lovely near-post ball is met by a clever flick of the boot from poacher extraordinaire Ellen White but Toffees keeper Sandy MacIver sticks out a leg to make an excellent reaction save.

  5. Postpublished at 12:51 Greenwich Mean Time 20 March 2022

    Ipswich 0-0 West Ham

I reckon Ipswich have spent far more time in the West Ham half than Everton have in the other lunchtime quarter-final kick-off at Manchester City.

Just need that quality in the attacking third as Laura says.

Hammers reduced to having a pop from distance now but Melisa Felis drills well over.

  6. 'Ipswich need composure'published at 12:49 Greenwich Mean Time 20 March 2022

    Ipswich 0-0 West Ham

    Laura Bassett
Former England defender on BBC Red Button

Ipswich are going to spend a lot of time without the ball but on the moments they do have it they are going to need composure if they are going to trouble West Ham at the other end of the pitch.

  7. Postpublished at 12:46 Greenwich Mean Time 20 March 2022

    Ipswich 0-0 West Ham

Ipswich have only conceded nine goals in 20 league games this season.

West Ham are having trouble breaking them down so far.

  8. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 12:44 Greenwich Mean Time 20 March 2022

    Man City 0-0 Everton

Lucy Bronze again goes close for City.

A corner breaks to the England full-back just inside the box and her side-footed effort takes a deflection onto the post with Toffees keeper Sandy MacIver beaten.

  9. Postpublished at 12:43 Greenwich Mean Time 20 March 2022

    Ipswich 0-0 West Ham

Lots of youngsters in the crowd and you can hear them getting excited every time Ipswich get near the West Ham area.

Just a couple of wayward shots to report thus far. But Ipswich will be happy with a scoreless opening 10 minutes.

  10. CLOSEpublished at 12:41 Greenwich Mean Time 20 March 2022

    Man City 0-0 Everton

First real chance for Manchester City - and it's a big one.

Free-kick floated in from the right and Lucy Bronze has an unmarked header in the six-yard box but sends it over the bar. She couldn't quite get over the ball.

Real proper FA Cup feel to this one - and the surroundings play a big part in that. Ipswich play at Felixstowe and Walton United, an eighth-tier men's club.

Fans lining the sidelines, houses in the background - classic FA Cup atmosphere.

West Ham look to threaten again but Ipswich keeper Sarah Quantrill comes off her line to collect a ball through the middle.

  12. Postpublished at 12:35 Greenwich Mean Time 20 March 2022

    Man City 0-0 Everton

Early stoppage at the Academy Stadium as Man City defender Demi Stokes appears to have suffered a slight cut.

  13. CLOSE!published at 12:34 Greenwich Mean Time 20 March 2022

    Ipswich 0-0 West Ham

What a let-off for the minnows.

Zaneta Wyne's left-wing cross falls to Claudia Walker six yards out. She takes a touch but slightly stumbles and pokes inches wide of the post.

It's going to be a date and a game that is etched in lots of people's memories - fans, players, coaching staff - for many years to come.

Not often do you get the chance to play top WSL sides so it's about learning and your mindset. Do you step up to the game against some top international players in this West Ham side?

But it's also a challenge West Ham aren't faced with that often.

There are two changes for Ipswich Town from their last National League Southern Premier game - a 3-0 win at Cardiff - as Lucy O’Brien and Olivia Smith replace Eva Hubbard and Eloise King.

West Ham, meanwhile, make seven changes from their WSL draw with Manchester United in midweek with Gilly Flaherty, Kate Longhurst and Adriana Leon among those to drop to the bench. Interesting.
