Tottenham 0-0 Brighton

No sign of Tottenham picking it up at this moment in time.

Indeed, they've just picked up a second yellow after Rodrigo Bentancur's poor challenge on Yves Bissouma.

That's the easiest decision the referee has had to make.

Credit to Brighton. They're look very assured and are compact and very organised. If only they had a 20-goal striker.

You wouldn't have thought Tottenham had won their past four games watching this. They've been sluggish from minute one and Harry Kane and Son Heung-min have hardly had a sniff.

A Brighton corner is flicked on by Joel Veltman and is just about cleared before any serious damage can be done.

Fair to say Spurs haven't hit the heights of recent performances.

The first serious sight of goal falls to Enock Mwepu whose fierce shot from just inside the box is deflected behind by Ben Davies.

That was close.

Another pause in play for an injury. This time to Leandro Trossard after a challenge by Emerson Royal. No need for the magic sponge. Trossard is going to ok to carry on.

A flurry of corners for Spurs - four in a short space of time - but Robert Sanchez is yet to be seriously tested. Lots of endeavour from both sides but little in the way of goalmouth action.

In it comes from Son and this time Sanchez misses it. Fortunately for Spurs it lands clear and is hacked away.

Tottenham win a first corner which is delivered by Son only for Robert Sanchez to fist it clear. Enock Mwepu concedes another corner as Spurs crank up the pressure.

Boos from the home fans as Lewis Dunk collapses to the ground after Harry Kane runs into the back of him. Did Dunk make a meal of that? Kane is getting a lecture off the referee.

We're still waiting for this to burst into life. Tariq Lamptey turns into trouble and Son Heung-min is on the charge before going down under Yves Bissouma's challenge. Craig Pawson waves play off much to the annoyance of the home fans.

It's been a steady and composed start by the Seagulls. They're spraying it around with confidence before Lewis Dunk's pass rolls out of play and Tottenham are back is possession.

Mwepu is back on his feet and good to continue. Brighton almost carve out their first opening through Pascal Gross after some careless play by the hosts before it's scrambled clear.
