    Sutton 2-3 Rotherham

    Chris Peddy
    BBC Sport at Wembley

It's another brilliant Rotherham goal and it could be the one that wins them the cup.

Chiedozie Ogbene absolutely lashed that home and the Millers are all over Sutton now, who look like they might be going 30 minutes too far.

Rotherham are quicker to every ball and are well worth the turnaround. It's harsh on Sutton, they were so close but couldn't quite see out the game and now Rotherham's class is really showing.

It's the Reds fans' turn to have some fun in the stands and they're cracking out all the songs BUT there's still another half of extra-time to go...

    Sutton 2-3 Rotherham

Isaac Olaofe blasts wildly over the bar and Sutton come so close again.

It was excellent hold-up play by the big centre-forward, holding off the defender, turning and creating space.

The finish though lacked that classic C word. Composure.

    Sutton 2-3 Rotherham

Free-header at the back post for Rotherham, Michael Ihiekwe stoops and guides across goal, but it strikes the post.

Freddie Ladapo is denied on the rebound by Dean Bouzanis.

Millers really seeking to put this final to bed.

    Sutton 2-3 Rotherham

Rotherham are peppering the Sutton penalty area, Michael Smith whizzing a cross in from the left which Dean Bouzanis just about clears.

The ball keeps coming in, and the men in amber are working overtime to stay afloat.

David Ajiboye gets in behind though, he darts onto a ball over the top, but is flagged off. The Sutton dangerman barks at the officials in frustration.

    WHAT A HIT.

Rotherham are in front for the first-time, thanks to a rasper from Chiedozie Ogbene.

It was a long ball forward, helped on by Michael Smith which Freddie Ladapo just eased into the Republic of Ireland winger, and he fizzed a swerving, whizzing belter into the net from distance.

Sutton, who were two and a bit minutes away from the cup, now have to come from behind.

    Darren Carter
Ex-Birmingham midfielder on BBC Radio WM

Lee Bowyer will have been pleased with what he has seen this afternoon.

But I expected a lot more from West Brom with their attacking talent.

Blues haven't had to do any last-ditch defending or make blocks.

    Sutton 2-2 Rotherham

Harry Beautyman crashes over the bar for Sutton, after Rotherham insufficiently clear a corner.

Joe Kizzi did well to help the ball back into the mix, and Beautyman had time to get it down, but didn't get over the ball.

    Sutton 2-2 Rotherham

Michael Smith rises in the Sutton area, but just can't quite connect.

Shane Ferguson, who has a superb left-foot, has given Rotherham an excellent outlet on the left side.

Sutton still in this though, and pushing.

    Sutton 2-2 Rotherham

Shane Ferguson snaps the free-kick which nicks off a Sutton player, and strikes the stanchion behind.

Some unsighted Rotherham fans initially thought it was in.

The corner was dealt with, and Sutton hack away again.

    Sutton 2-2 Rotherham

The way Rotherham ended the half you'd envisage that they would be the side who come into extra time on top, but did that sap so much energy?

They've forced the issue enough to win a free-kick, edge of the box, with Joe Kizzi booked for Sutton.

West Brom have failed to test the keeper all afternoon. That's criminal.

It looks the play-offs are too far a journey to make now.

  12. EXTRA TIME IS UNDER WAYpublished at 17:03 British Summer Time 3 April 2022

Thirty minutes of football. A cup for the winner.

    Simple.

  13. FULL-TIMEpublished at 17:00 British Summer Time 3 April 2022

    Birmingham 1-0 West Brom

Birmingham get a morale-boosting win through Lyle Taylor's penalty, against a lacklustre West Brom in a really poor game.

Steve Bruce's side needed a win in this derby arguably to maintain their promotion hopes but they didn't get one.

Instead, it's the Blues enjoying the spoils. But they wouldn't be buying a commemorative DVD of it, I'd happily wager.

    Sutton 2-2 Rotherham

    Extra-time to come.

Rotherham pull it out of the fire right at the end of the injury time period through Jordi Osei-Tutu, and take it to an extra 30 minutes.

Sutton had led twice, through Donovan Wilson and then skipper Craig Eastmond, after Ben Wiles took the net off nearly with an equaliser in between.

Who has the momentum? Who has the energy? Who has the mettle?

    Let's see.

    EXTRA TIME BECKONS.

Rotherham surely snatch another 30 minutes to get their hands on this trophy as Jordi Osei-Tutu smashes the ball from the left side of the box past Dean Bouzanis to level.

What a finish. What a finish to the game.

    Sutton players must be devastated.

Michael Smith gets a sighter in the box, he goes to hit it but it's a desperate dive from Sutton sub Ben Wyatt to see it wide. Crucial.

Dan Barlaser pumps in the corner but Dean Bouzanis punches away.

    Sutton cling on...
