    Sutton 1-0 Rotherham

Will Randall stalks his way down the left but no Rotherham player commits and he ends up in the box with a chance to cross.

For just a second it spoons up and zings toward goal but Viktor Johansson resets himself and saves to deny Sutton.

What a moment for Donovan Wilson and Sutton United!

Wilson's finish is neat and tidy after some poor defending from Rotherham and he wheels away to the other end where the Sutton fans are going crazy!

Sutton have a spring in their step now, they look like they're really enjoying themselves on this big Wembley pitch and their fans are loving every minute.

    Birmingham 0-0 West Brom

West Brom try to quicken the pace as Conor Townsend launches a throw down the left for Callum Robinson to chase and he latches on.

His clever pass to Townsend inside the full-back takes him into the box, but the cross is easily smothered.

You feel this needs a bit of ignition to get this one firing. Something a bit late in midfield or a bit of a 50-50. It's a little tame.

    Donovan Wilson (30 mins)

Breakthrough for Sutton and no less than they deserve as Rotherham are breached.

The Millers failed to deal with Louis Jean's curling cross into the box, the ball is cut back by Will Randall to Donovan Wilson, who takes a touch and drills low beyond Viktor Johansson.

It's all Amber and Chocolate at Wembley now.

    Birmingham 0-0 West Brom

Birmingham get a set-piece on the right which Tahith Chong and Juninho Bacuna line up. Looks a good chance to target the box.

Chong swings it but it's a poor connection and West Brom hook it away.

Blues get it back, Gary Gardner has a chance in the box but the flag goes up. Offside.

    Sutton 0-0 Rotherham

Joshua Kayode tumbles on the edge of the Sutton box as he seeks a route through to goal, but the Rotherham striker is penalised rather than winning a free-kick.

    Millers pressing.

Chiedozie Ogbene teased down the right but his square ball across the edge of the box is snapped up by Sutton.

    Sutton 0-0 Rotherham

First glimpse of big Michael Smith for Rotherham as the Millers seek to get him in behind but the assistant's flag brings his raid to an abrupt end.

He's a real physical threat, but Sutton haven't had too much to deal with from him so far. Paul Warne's side looking for different outlets.

Mikel Miller being one of them, but his cross swung in from the left is right down the throat of Dean Bouzanis.

Baggies midfielder Taylor Gardner-Hickman and Gary Gardner share a name and a passion for the game by the looks of things, after a coming together in midfield.

The Blues skipper was all over TGH like a racy Strictly dance routine, but it was no Tango.

Exchange of words. Ref calmed it down nicely.

West Brom pick up on the back of that, with a great ball in from Semi Ajayi which is eventually turned behind, and Neil Etheridge has to get to the corresponding set-piece to turn away.

What a miss that was! Will Randall has to score!

The run from David Ajiboye was majestic as he took the ball from his own half and played in Randall on the edge of the box. The cutback is neat and you were expecting him to slot home but he goes for the near post and hits the side-netting.

It's a huge let-off for Rotherham and their supporters next to me quite enjoyed seeing it go wide.

  11. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:18 British Summer Time 3 April 2022

    Sutton 0-0 Rotherham

Rotherham certainly not comfortable with the pace Sutton are playing with.

Omar Bugiel was cut down in full flight by Ben Wiles, who earns himself a booking.

They're edging this one so far, are the League Two side.

    Birmingham City 0-0 West Brom

    Ged Scott
    BBC Sport at St Andrew's

There's 10,000 less seats available to use since Albion were last here at St Andrew's, given the ongoing repairs in the lower tiers of the Tilton End and Spion Kop stands.

But, despite the unseasonal coldness muffling a few faces and keeping a few hands in pockets, there was still a decent roar of pre-kick-off derby excitement when this one got under way.

There might been even more roars had the visiting section of Albion fans in the corner of the Railway Stand End seen a video replay of that ball hitting Blues defender Marc Roberts' hand in the box.

It was accidental and he was off balance. But it's the kind of thing the twitchy VAR boys in the top flight would have jumped on like a hungry cat on a mouse.

Will Randall after his missed chanceImage source, PA Media

Will Randall should have scored for Sutton.

It was another slick break to open Rotherham up and Randall was played in left of the box.

He chopped back to turn the defender inside out, but with Viktor Johansson and the goal gaping, he drags his shot wide of the near post.

Had to take that chance. Let-off for Rotherham.

  14. Postpublished at 15:15 British Summer Time 3 April 2022

    Birmingham 0-0 West Brom

Flying tackle by Kyle Bartley wins the ball for West Brom and Birmingham fans are livid. Was a cruncher.

Callum Robinson wins a corner as the ball squirts his way, but Alex Mowatt volleys well wide from the ball to the edge of the box.

    Sutton 0-0 Rotherham

Sutton certainly haven't sat back and let Rotherham set about them, with Rob Milsom doing a good job to limit the supply for Chiedozie Ogbene.

Will Randall was played in down the left, hangs a cross to the far post which is cleared behind eventually by Rotherham for a set-piece.

Good squeeze. Punch away from Viktor Johnansson. Sutton reload the cross but it's taken easily by the keeper who is known as 'The Viking'.

    Bit scrappy so far.

Neither side has taken control of midfield and you sense the first team to get some composure in that area will start to assert themselves.

    Sutton 0-0 Rotherham

Sutton get behind the Rotherham defence, with Omar Bugiel charging forward and squaring the ball.

Ollie Rathbone airkicks his clearance, and Will Randall wasn't far away from nipping in and tucking it home. Angle was just against him.

Nerves affecting everybody, and as Chris was saying, a great atmosphere at Wembley.

We're under way here at Wembley and both sets of fans have immediately created a great atmosphere for the first ever meeting between these two teams - what a stage for that!

There's nowhere near the full 90,000 capacity here with fans only occupying the lower tier but you'd think there are a lot more, it is loud! A large number have made the trip down from Rotherham and there's a big support for League Two Sutton as well.

  20. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:06 British Summer Time 3 April 2022

    Birmingham 0-0 West Brom

The home side get an early opportunity to apply some pressure, as Marc Roberts hauls a throw into the West Brom box, but Kyle Bartley was right behind it.

Callum Robinson looks to be the target for Albion going forward, with Bartley trying to seek him out.

He won a throw which Darnell Furlong launched into the box, and it looked to come off the hand of Roberts, but no penalty was coming.

Free-kick actually went Blues' way... hmmm.
