Al Bayt silenced, you can hear a pin drop.

Cody Gakpo again and he becomes only the fourth Dutch player to score in three consecutive World Cup games after Johan Neeskens (1974), Dennis Bergkamp (1994) and Wesley Sneijder (2010).

Galindez is not the biggest but he likes to come for corners. They've had three, they've all been inswinging, they haven't put any player on him. He has come for all three corners and he has won them all. Senegal, I think there's something you might want to address there.

    Ecuador 0-0 Senegal

Oof. Ismaila Sarr wins the ball off Angelo Preciado down the left and cuts inside.

The Watford and Senegal man has one thing on his mind and whips a shot towards the far corner but it takes a slight nick and just flicks wide of the target.

Ecuador keeper Hernan Galindez deals with the corner with ease.

    Cody Gakpo (26 mins)

    That man again!

It is a fine move by the Dutch as they open up the Qatar defence with quick, incisive passing before Davy Klaassen plays Cody Gakpo through the middle and he steers a neat finish into the bottom corner.

Gakpo has scored in every game so far here. On fire.

Qatar win another corner and this time it is driven in to the near post, where Abdelkarim Hassan breaks away but sends a first-time shot high over the bar.

Still, the best spell of the game from the hosts 25 minutes in.

A good moment for Qatar as they work the ball forward well before winning their first corner of the game when Homam Ahmed's cross is deflected behind. Akram Afif whips the ball in but it is headed away.

Preciado has been struggling down that right hand side against Sarr. He is jumping up and down now so you would think he'll be alright.

Angelo Preciado is down holding his face for Ecuador, while his knee gets the magic sponge. Well spray.

Did he jar it there in a challenge with Ismaila Sarr? It looks a painful one.

Idrissa Gueye is playing in a number 10 position for Senegal and making a decent job of it as he wins a corner out of nothing.

Nowt doing there though and Ecuador find an out ball down the right to relieve any pressure.

Good switch of play from Senegal, good movement off the ball but you are looking at that final finish. Senegal are winning their individual battles right now so they are getting the better chances in the game.
