Lovely stuff from Iran! They are passing around Wales at the moment.

Wayne Hennessey again ultimately gathers the ball without being tested, but Iran at the moment have an extra man in midfield and Wales can't get hold of the ball.

We're having problems in the midfield once again. It's too open, there are way too many pockets of space for Iran to run through.

Aaron Ramsey has got to do better.

Sardar Azmoun has a sight of goal after Wales concede possession, but his 20-yard shot is weak and easy for Wayne Hennessey to gather.

The game's too open for me. Joe Rodon was sleeping then, he's lucky Chris Mepham got ahead of him.

Good start from Wales, much better than against USA.

You wouldn't expect Iran to press as much, so they should get more space in midfield.

    Iran 0-0 Wales

Two balls over the top cause Wales concern.

The first is overhit, but the second required Chris Mepham to get a vital touch.

Iran and Wales have both started better than they did on Monday.

Wales had a shock in the first half against the USA but I think that's out of their system now. I think they've learned from it and they know exactly what they've got to do here today.

The largest bit of shade on the pitch is in Iran's defensive third. More reason for Wales to... get it launched!

A Welshman described this as their World Cup final beforehand. And they meant it.

    They've got to win it.

It's going to be a close one, a tight game. I don't see Wales running away with it.

We'll take a 1-0. We just need to take it to the last game. But it's an absolute must-win.

    Jess Fishlock

Wales need to be a little bit more aggressive in their pressing, they need to have their shape start higher up and put Iran under a little bit of pressure.

If they can do that early and really be relentless early on then I think it bodes well for us.

I'm feeling worse now! I'm excited, nervous, a mixture of everything.

But I do think that if this Wales team can get to the levels we’re used to, they’ll get a result. We’ll see a different Iran today but I'm still quietly confident.

I am ready to support the boys like the rest of Wales and the Red Wall in the stadium.
