When Ethan Ampadu has the ball Connor Roberts is wide open, high and wide. If we can just get it out there and make Iran move wide and then go central, I think we will cause Iran problems.

    This game is racing by.

    It's so tense!

Wales warned all week that Iran would be much-improved.

    Well, they have been.

What can Wales do about it?

A draw doesn't really do much for either side.

Andrew: It looked offside in real-time, even the goalscorer was hesitant in celebrating. A huge let-off for Wales.

John: Well Iran messed that up.

The Red Wall behind Wayne Hennessey's goal cheered the VAR announcement as if they had scored themselves and are now booming out "Wales, Wales, Wales" before being drowned out by the Iran end.

It is a tight one. He goes too early.

Azmoun should have taken the shot on, he overcomplicated things.

Schools in Wales have been told by the Welsh government they can put lessons on hold for pupils to watch the game against Iran.

And it looks like plenty of schools have taken the chance to get behind Robert Page's side, including Aaron Ramsey's former school in Caerphilly.

Great effort on goal, we've already seen more from Wales in this opening 14 minutes than we did for the whole of the 45 against the US, we look far more threatening.

Great save Hossein Hosseini! Kieffer Moore gets a big boot on Connor Roberts' cross, but Hosseini blocks his effort from close-range.

Moore gets a whack in the face for his troubles.

I don't know why Aaron Ramsey is trying to do tricks in the middle of the field, he's got to be more disciplined, they're giving the ball away far too often again.

Iran's keeper [Hossein Hosseini] looks very nervous whenever Wales get close to the box. We've got to find more ways of testing him.

As has already been said, Wales have made a much better start than they did against the US.

But Iran are also a lot more lively than they were against England. Then, they sat deep on the edge of their own area - here they are pressing high up the pitch and committing plenty of men forward when they get the ball.
