For the first time Poland's fans are making themselves heard. But Mexico continue to prod and probe around the opposition box. Another ball is delivered into the mix but is just about dealt with.

Surely we are going to see Raul Jimenez at some point.

Because Henry Martin up front has not been involved - everything is happening around the sides for Mexico.

Fair to say Martin Keown is not impressed with Poland so far. He says they are playing as though they are taking a break! Where is their cutting edge? They need to mix things up to become more of a threat.

Mexico look like they have got a bit more edge, a bit more energy about them and this battle between Hirving Lozano and Bartosz Bereszynski will be key. I am not convinced Bereszynski will be able to keep him under control.

Mexico have been flexing their muscles in the past few minutes and looked dangerous. Will they establish a lead before the break?

The referee just found out what it was like to hear an entire stadium jeer him. The Mexican fans did not appreciate that yellow card.

They applauded a little cautiously when the free-kick was half-cleared though. Poland have a decent striker up front who can be dangerous...

N-n-n-n-nineteen!

Poland's No 19 Sebastian Szymanski is fouled by Mexico's No 19 Jorge Sanchez.

Out comes a yellow card for the Mexican. Was it really a booking though?

Gallardo just about stays onside, and it's a lovely ball in to him.

The goalkeeper, Wojciech Szczesny, to be fair to him, comes out really well - he doesn't get a lot on the ball but he stops him from scoring.

But I really like the look of Gallardo on that left hand side - he's really in the mood tonight.

Mexico are knocking on the door!

Moments after Vega goes close, Jesus Gallardo looks as though he is about to break the deadlock when Wojciech Szczesny sticks out a hand to divert it away.

Poland are living dangerously.

Another run from Hector Herrera deep from midfield and it really stretches the Poland back four. Alexis Vega rises well at the back post and it's just inches wide. I'm not sure if Wojciech Szczesny would have got a touch on it.

And just like that...we nearly have a goal.

A looping ball is delivered into the Poland box and Alexis Vega's header lands the wrong side of the post.

That was close!

Any chance of some goalmouth action, lads?

Unsurprisingly, Aston Villa's Matty Cash is keen to get forward for Poland.

He's already been deep into Mexico territory three times and is proving to be a useful outlet on the right-hand side.

I've just spotted a Mexican fan sporting a sombrero and wearing a horse rider costume.

It's a good job we're near the water here and it's much cooler than elsewhere.

I think we will see something of Raul Jimenez in this competition.

Of course he had that terrible head injury and then this season he's had a groin injury.

But he played in a friendly game a few days ago so he's available and I'm pretty sure we will see him at some point.
