Trent Alexander-Arnold curls it in from the right and Emerson Royal takes no chances, heading it behind. The Kop roar with encouragment.

The touch from Harry Kane was absolutely incredible. Took it out of the sky, moved it away from Trent Alexander-Arnold. It opened up for him; Sessegnon plays it straight across the box for Son to tap in.

Another good Spurs break. Ryan Sessegnon can't quite get on the end of Dejan Kulusevski's cross before Alisson has to be alert to gather in a shot from the edge of the box. Liverpool look a bit shaken up and Tottenham have burst into life!

Andy Robertson takes a free-kick for Liverpool as they look to respond immediately. It finds Ibrahima Konate but he heads it comfortably over the bar.

Eric Dier switches it over to the left for Ryan Sessegnon. Trent Alexander-Arnold has to come across to get the block it.

Another dangerous break by Spurs with Son Heung-min but there are enough players around him to block the shot inside the box.

Spurs are right to play out from the back because they don't want to keep giving the ball back to Liverpool, which is happening.

They need to keep the ball better.

Emerson Royal's cross is deflected behind by Andy Robertson. From the resulting corner, it's half-cleared to Ryan Sessegnon but when he chips it back in, Harry Kane is offside and he knows it. Liverpool then go long straight away and Ben Davies wrestles Mohamed Salah to the floor.

Spurs manage to get out of this time as Jordan Henderson and Thiago both slide in and probably both foul Harry Kane in the process. Free-kick to Spurs in the middle.

Liverpool just sustain attacks because of the pressure they have behind the ball. Tottenham can't get out.

It is always a red shirt first to the second ball when it comes out. They are brilliant at it.

Thiago fizzes it over to Jordan Henderson. He knocks it down for someone in the middle but it's hastily hooked away. The rebound falls for Trent Alexander-Arnold and it's deflected behind for a corner.

Spurs give away under pressure again but Mohamed Salah's chipped ball into the box is poor.

Jordan Henderson lays it off to Mohamed Salah just inside the box. He tries to tee up a team-mate but it's straight to Eric Dier.

Cristian Romero then gives it away again under Liverpool's press but Sadio Mane's pass for Henderson is inches behind.

As it stands Liverpool are top on goal difference with Manchester City still to play Newcastle tomorrow.

Tottenham are within a point of Arsenal in fourth.
