No matter how it's gone for your team there's loads of time to put it right/build on it.

Albion were far better in the second half and took the game to Middlesbrough.

They could have won the game but Steve Bruce should be sataisfied with their perofrmance in the second half.

They didn't want to lose this game and that point could be very valuable at the end of the season.

A game of two halves.

Middlesbrough had much the better of the opening 45 minutes and led at the break thanks to Isaiah Jones' early goal.

However, they could not find a second and were made to pay for that in the second half when debutant John Swift levelled for the greatly improved visitors.

A point apiece then for these two possible promotion challengers.

Darnell Furlong flings a long throw in to the area as West Brom look for a late winner.

Darragh Lenihan heads it away before Alex Mowat slices an effort into the stand.

It's been a really entertaining first game of the season. Both sets of players have put everything into it.

Daryl Dike does well to force Boro defender Darragh Lenihan off the ball on the byline.

The American then tries to score from a very tight angle when he maybe should cut it back.

We're into five minutes added on at the end now.

West Brom bring on Alex Mowatt for Jayson Mulumby.

Molumby looks to be in a bit of discomfort.

Grady Diangana is fractions away there. He just couldn't get a touch to it.

It's been Albion's half. They've thrown far more men forward and have looked dangerous.

It's been so much better than the first half.

West Brom get the ball into the Boro area after good work from Daryl Dike.

It bounces off a Boro defender and Zack Steffen makes a mess of his punch and the ball eventually goes across the face of the Middlesbrough goal.

Middlesbrough sub Josh Coburn does really well to win a corner after battling through a couple of West Brom defenders.

Dara O'Shea gets a block on the young forward's shot.

The game is really stretched now.

I think there's going to be at least one more big chance in this.

Who will it fall to though and will they take it?

West Brom go to their bench for the second time and Daryl Dike makes his return from a long-term injury in place of Karlan Grant.

Grady Diangana plays Jed Wallace in and the former Millwall man does neither cut it back nor shoot.

It's that time in the game when it opens up. It's getting stretched.

Jonny Howson chances his arm from range for the home side after a corner is punched out by David Button and then played to him.

It hits West Brom defender Semi Ajayi's foot and somehow flies over the bar.

The second Boro corner causes more panic but the Baggies clear.

West Brom have been so on top this half I don't think I've typed Ryan Giles' name.

The Wolves loanee is finally fed the ball down the Boro left and sends in a really testing cross.

The Baggies get it clear but they can ill-afford to give this guy a chance to get a delivery into the middle.

Heading into the last quarter of this game and West Brom go to their bench for the first time.

Grady Diangana is on and Matty Phillips is off.

Bit of a stoppage here as Dara O'Shea is down getting some treatment for West Brom.

The Baggies defender caught an elbow off Marcus Forss.

Certainly accidental but that wont make it hurt any less.
