Tottenham v Southampton (15:00 BST)
While Saturday's hosts Tottenham have been very active in the summer market to add support behind star striking partnership Harry Kane and Son Heung-min, it's been another understated summer for visitors Southampton.
Saints have made six signings with only Joe Aribo and back-up keeper Mateusz Lis older than 20 but boss Ralph Hasenhuttl is unperturbed that none of the new arrivals have played in the Premier League before.
"We are keen to give young players a chance to make their first steps in the Premier League," he said. "We know what to expect from them - they've got a lot of talent but they have to give a lot of effort.
"They will maybe make some mistakes that they have to learn from and that may cost us sometimes but we have been keen to do this in the past and will do in the future as well."
Fulham 2-2 Liverpool
Fulham
Fulham defender Tim Ream speaking to BT Sport: "It gives a big boost of confidence. Mitrovic is an animal and as long as he's banging goals in we're good."
Bournemouth v Aston Villa (15:00 BST)

Spoken to both managers in the tunnel before the game. Steven Gerrard seemed relaxed and quietly assured about Villa’s prospects, but the noises around Bournemouth in recent days aren’t quite so calm. Scott Parker said last week that his squad was currently ‘weaker than the one that got promoted’. He’s short of centre-backs in particular, and will be aware that Villa will really put that to the test today.
Fulham 2-2 Liverpool
Fulham
Fulham manager Marco Silva speaking to BT Sport: "We have to respect Liverpool but of course do our job and trust ourselves, we did a great first half, almost perfect the way we controlled and blocked. Second half we matched them every time.
"I know the quality Mitrovic has and I'm here to take the best from my players, Mitrovic is not just goals he puts on the constant pressure and the overall job he did is fantastic."

The sun is shining in north London and it reflects the mood here around Tottenham.
I spoke to club legend Gary Mabbutt for Football Focus earlier today and he said he now believes Antonio Conte has a squad to fight on multiple fronts.
And Conte's first programme notes also referred back to a busy but successful pre-season, describing this as a 'good time for the club'.
None of the new faces start today but it certainly feels that this is the most optimism and excitement there has been around this part of London for some time.
Newcastle v Nottingham Forest (15:00 BST)
It hasn't been quite the summer transfer spree - at least, yet - that many expected from nouveau-riche Newcastle United although the Magpies have added Lille defender Sven Botman, England goalkeeper Nick Pope and Matt Targett.
But boss Eddie Howe says he is "confident" of adding further faces and he gave the Toon Army a big boost on the eve of the new season by signing a new "long-term" contract at St James' Park.
He says, however, it is wrong to assume the club can "sign whoever we want".
"Financial Fair Play will impact us, will continue to impact us, I think, for a number of years," Howe said.
"We haven't got the free rein, the free hand that maybe has been perceived in the media, that we can go and sign whoever we want and pay extortionate fees and wages."
Bournemouth v Aston Villa (15:00 BST)

Bournemouth worry me a bit because they haven't done a lot of transfer business since winning promotion.
Aston Villa haven't signed as many players as I thought they would this summer either, but they already had a lot of quality in their squad and this is a great opportunity for them to get off to a good start.
Sutton's prediction: 0-1
Tottenham v Southampton (15:00 BST)

There is a lot of excitement around Tottenham, but then it is the same at the start of every season.
I know Richarlison is suspended for this game but it is going to be interesting to see how he fits into their team after joining from Everton.
Dejan Kulusevski did really well after arriving in January and we know how good Son Heung-Min and Harry Kane are, so I don't know how Antonio Conte will fit them all into his team. Still, it's not a bad problem to have.
In contrast to what is expected from Spurs, a lot of people seem to be predicting Southampton will get relegated. But Saints seem to get written off every season and then prove people wrong.
I'm going for the old Kane and Son one-two to get the job done for Spurs again.
Sutton's prediction: 2-1
Leeds v Wolves (15:00 BST)
Phil Dawkes
BBC Sport at Elland Road
This isn't one of the most modern stadiums in the Premier League. Oh, who are we kidding, it's very rough around the edges.
Redevelopment of the ground was very much one of the subjects discussed by owner Andrea Radrizzani and chief executive Angus Kinnear this week during a PR media blitz. The stand from which this photo was taken - the West Stand - is the one in the firing line to be rebuilt first to try and update the place and grow the capacity.
There will be around 36,000 in here soon and you can guarantee they'll make some noise. Especially those that have nipped in for a pint or two at the local pub - now back to being called the Old Peacock after it was rebadged as The Bielsa for the latter end of 2021-22 after the Argentine had been sacked.
Bournemouth v Aston Villa
Aston Villa were the visitors in Bournemouth's first ever Premier League game - indeed, their first ever top-flight match - in August 2015, seven years ago almost to the day.
Villa spoiled the party that day, triumphing 1-0 with a winner from Rudy Gestede - remember him? - but that would be one of just three league wins all season in a rotten relegation campaign for the Midlanders.
The Cherries, meanwhile, spent five seasons in the PL, but were relegated after Project Restart in July 2020, finishing just a point behind guess who? Yes, Villa, who survived by the skin of their teeth.
So it's perhaps fitting that upon their relatively swift return to the top flight, Bournemouth again welcome Villa on opening day as former England team-mates Scott Parker and Steven Gerrard lock horns in the dug-out.
Leeds v Wolves (15:00 BST)
Phil Dawkes
BBC Sport at Elland Road
Leeds have got some serious mural game. There is giant art work depicting Whites heroes all over the city, including Marcelo Bielsa and the recently departed Kalvin Phillips.
The latest is here at Elland Road (near the corner of the East Stand and Kop) and features the famous side that played under Don Revie in the 1960s and 1970s.
Revie is the man depicted in the middle, holding the FA Cup, which the club won in 1972.
Leeds v Wolves (15:00 BST)
Chris Sutton
Former Premier League striker and BBC football expert
Along with Fulham and Bournemouth, I've got Leeds as going down this season. They only just stayed up last time and then sold their two best players, Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha, this summer.
Wolves have got some brilliant creative players but they are lacking firepower at the moment without the injured Raul Jimenez, so who is going to get their goals?
This is a hard one to predict, so I am going to sit on the fence.
Sutton's prediction: 0-0
Newcastle v Nottingham Forest (15:00 BST)
Nottingham Forest have certainly been noisy newcomers as they prepare for their first Premier League campaign in 23 years.
Dean Henderson and Jesse Lingard have arrived from Manchester United. Omar Richards, Taiwo Awoniyi, Moussa Niakhate and Orel Mangala from assorted Bundesliga clubs. Neco Williams from Liverpool.
Steve Cooper's side are also being heavily linked with Wolves winger Morgan Gibbs-White and Southampton striker Che Adams - but the manager says the overhaul will not damage the camaraderie established during last season's promotion push.
"Let’s not forget there is still a good core of players that are still here that were a big part of the spirit last year which was incredible and a massive factor to our success," he said.
"We’ve had some open and honest conversations already and the guys from last season have talked about how they want to embrace the new faces and it’s an objective to recreate if not improve the togetherness we had last year."

It's great to see Forest back in the Premier League after 23 years and I hope they do well.
Forest have made a couple of interesting moves in the transfer market already - Jesse Lingard is a good signing and I like the look of their new Belgian midfielder, Orel Mangala, too. I think they will stay up.
Newcastle, meanwhile, don't have to worry about beating the drop this year. Eddie Howe did such a good job there in the second half of last season and, after it looked like they were in a big relegation fight, they stayed up very comfortably in the end.
As far as this game goes, it is another tricky one to call - but I am going for Newcastle to edge it because they have got home advantage.
Sutton's prediction: 1-0

Former Liverpool striker on BT Sport
Liverpool were flat. It's not the Liverpool we've seen who have been relentless. But we have to give credit to Fulham and the work [manager] Marco Silva has put in.
Fulham 2-2 Liverpool
Fulham hold on for a hard-earned draw on their return to the Premier League.
It's only a point for Liverpool but it could have been so much worse. And at least Mohamed Salah and new boy Darwin Nunez are immediately off the mark.
Fulham 2-2 Liverpool
Wowsers...
Fulham kill a bit more time by bringing Shane Duffy on for Bobby Decordova-Reid, then moments later the ball is played to Jordan Henderson.
Out of nothing the Liverpool captain tries his luck from about 25 yards out and it smacks against the top of the Fulham crossbar.
What a winner that would have been!!
