Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper, speaking to Sky Sports: "I thought we were good. We took the game to West Ham and played some good football. It was always going to be an important occasion. but the fans were amazing.

"We were really good in the first half. We played some good football in the build-up to the goal. We had a bit of good fortune.

"We were so keen to get up and running with points. We knew it was going to be a game of two halves. We were up against it in the second half. We will take a lot of confidence from today."

On West Ham's disallowed goal: "The VAR has made the decision. I was very disappointed the decision was not made in real time."

Nottingham Forest have taken the number of new players they have signed this summer to 14 over the weekend - and they are not finished yet.

Manager Steve Cooper confirmed in his post-match press conference there will be more incomings before 1 September transfer deadline.

"I would like to," he said.

"Everyone is looking into why. We have had no choice. We are still in the process of what we wanting to be.

"There will definitely be some more ins and outs."

West Ham United

West Ham boss David Moyes, speaking to Sky Sports: "It was private [discussion with the referee after the match]. That's it. The decisions today didn't quite go our way. I'm not going to tell you what was said.

"We played quite well at times but we missed opportunities as well so we cannot blame the officials all the time."

On the disallowed goal: "I saw a coming together and a pass. You need to bring the referee in here and ask him how he saw it."

On his side's defending for Forest's goal: "It was rotten to the core. Keystone cops all round."

On the possibility on new signings: "I hope I can add to it. We have to play better, defend better, and score better."

Chelsea overworking Spurs out of possession and just have more intensity making it difficult for Spurs. Good performance from Chelsea so far.

Between 15 and 30 minutes, 47.6% of the action was in the Tottenham third.

And Chelsea have just had another corner cleared.

Kai Havertz earns a corner on the Chelsea right, which is headed clear by Spurs before Reece James is booked for pulling back Son as he broke forward.

Tottenham only took one point in their five away London derbies last season, scoring just one goal - and it's not looking good so far today.

They have won 99 Premier League London derby matches and could be the third side to reach 100 victories after Chelsea and Arsenal.

However, only West Ham (112) have lost more such matches than Spurs (97).

Chelsea are in command here and Spurs manager Antonio Conte looks like a man with plenty to ponder in his technical area. Spurs simply cannot apply any pressure to this very compact Chelsea team and the home fans are enjoying this.

Mason Mount jinks in from the left and bends a 20-yard effort just wide of the far post. Would've been some goal that.

Emerson does well to find space to get a low cross past Marc Cucurella but it's easy for Edouard Mendy at the near post.

Tottenham are finally back on the ball - they've had just 30% possession so far - but Eric Dier gives it away with a poor diagonal ball forward.

Bit of frustration from Spurs as Dejan Kulusevski gives away a free-kick on the Chelsea left, but Marc Cucurella's cross fails to beat the first man.

They're showing replays of that strike by Kalidou Koulibaly. It kind of came off the outside of his right boot so he sent it spinning into the Spurs net.

Not exactly what Chelsea bought him for so a nice little bonus if he's going to pop up with strikes like that!
