    Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper, speaking to Sky Sports: "I thought we were good. We took the game to West Ham and played some good football. It was always going to be an important occasion. but the fans were amazing.

    "We were really good in the first half. We played some good football in the build-up to the goal. We had a bit of good fortune.

    "We were so keen to get up and running with points. We knew it was going to be a game of two halves. We were up against it in the second half. We will take a lot of confidence from today."

    On West Ham's disallowed goal: "The VAR has made the decision. I was very disappointed the decision was not made in real time."

    Nottingham Forest have taken the number of new players they have signed this summer to 14 over the weekend - and they are not finished yet.

    Manager Steve Cooper confirmed in his post-match press conference there will be more incomings before 1 September transfer deadline.

    "I would like to," he said.

    "Everyone is looking into why. We have had no choice. We are still in the process of what we wanting to be.

    "There will definitely be some more ins and outs."

    "We played quite well at times but we missed opportunities as well so we cannot blame the officials all the time."

    On the disallowed goal: "I saw a coming together and a pass. You need to bring the referee in here and ask him how he saw it."

    On his side's defending for Forest's goal: "It was rotten to the core. Keystone cops all round."

    On the possibility on new signings: "I hope I can add to it. We have to play better, defend better, and score better."

    Tottenham only took one point in their five away London derbies last season, scoring just one goal - and it's not looking good so far today.

    They have won 99 Premier League London derby matches and could be the third side to reach 100 victories after Chelsea and Arsenal.

    However, only West Ham (112) have lost more such matches than Spurs (97).

    I love Spurs, plus Conte has done an amazing job. However there are two things that are guaranteed with Spurs every season. 1, we lose every game we play Chelsea. 2, we’ll concede goals from the other teams' set-pieces. I’ve come to expect both of these from Spurs every season.
