Quick counter-attack from Manchester United but they give it away too easily. First Christian Eriksen, then Jadon Sancho have poor touches which allow City to regain possession.

They are just rushing it a little but there is space when United get the ball.

Ilkay Gundogan and Kevin de Bruyne stand over the set-piece but it's the German who takes it.

Gundogan curls it over the wall and it's beating David de Gea but bounces off the outside of the right post.

Jack Grealish has started well. He weaves in and out of a few challenges, plays a one-two with Kevin de Bruyne and is eventually brought down by Lisandro Martinez.

Shane: Way too easy for City. Utd look like deer stuck in headlights. That goal started with Sancho's poor giveaway when he should have played Rashford in.

Paul: All Man City! Man Utd awful. Let’s be honest they didn’t deserve to beat Arsenal either. The result masked the bang average performance. This’ll be 3/4-0 to City.

Kyle Walker miscues Bruno Fernandes' long ball and it comes through to Jadon Sanchez. He tees up Christian Eriksen but the strike is well wide under pressure.

Manchester United try to keep the ball for a few minutes but Tyrell Malacia takes his eye off it and it goes under his foot to roll out for a throw-in. He frowns, Erik ten Hag claps in encouragement and the home fans jeer.

Marcus Rashford is given one to chase down the left but Ederson reads the danger and comes across to clear it.

What a start by Manchester City. They have swarmed all over Manchester United and the only surprise was it took them that long to score the way they have dominated.

Diogo Dalot is going to have a long afternoon. Jack Grealish plays a smart one-two and leaves him behind to earn another foul. Dalot is on a yellow card and looks a bit unsure of when to engage in the tackle.

First chance for Manchester United? They win it back high up the pitch and Bruno Fernandes slides it left to Marcus Rashford on the edge of the box. His first touch is poor and he loses it before he can get a shot off.

Culer: Man Utd have a stronger bench than Man City so we are more capable of changing the game if its not going our way. I'm expecting a Man Utd win. In fact I'm willing to bet BOTH of my houses on it!

This came in a few minutes before Manchester City took the lead...

It's a lovely finish, he just strokes it into the net. It's a beautiful finish, Bernardo Silva puts it on a plate. De Gea stood no chance and didn't even move.

It's played across the middle towards Bruno Fernandes but Manuel Akanji wins it back immediately for City.

You would have thought that Casemiro would go straight into the team when he came but ten Hag has stuck with McTominay in the centre of the pitch with Eriksen just slightly advanced. Casemiro needs to win his place.

City have started this straight on the front foot. They have the ball in United's half and are moving it around with pace.

The home fans have gone up a notch after that triple chance a few moments ago.

Diogo Dalot gives it away to Nathan Ake to huge jeers from the home fans. Within seconds, City have it in space on the left. It's cut-back to Erling Haaland. His header is hastily cleared off the line.

It comes to Kevin de Bruyne who fires in a rebound. That's well saved by David de Gea and there's another shot from somewhere before it's cleared!

The first free-kick is won by Erling Haaland after he holds it up in the middle. The second is won by Jack Grealish and Diogo Dalot gets a yellow card for it as he clips the City winger after being beaten for pace.
