Another HUGE miss, this time from Amadou Onana, who pounced on a mistake from Pierre-Emile Højbjerg but lacked composure as he came face to face with Hugo Lloris. He skies it over the bar from close range. It was almost identical to Demarai Gray's miss but from the opposite side.

Son Heung-min's corner is an awkward one for Jordan Pickford to deal with and Idrissa Gueye has to help it on with an acrobatic overhead clearance.

What a tackle that is! Onana has won that cleanly, it is an incredible tackle with the outside of his left foot. There is an art to tackling, we've seen Onana and Romero do it in this game.

    Tottenham 0-0 Everton

Amadou Onana comes in strongly on Rodrigo Bentancur to win the ball back for Everton and there's a big jeer from the home fans who wanted a free-kick in Spurs' favour. It was a decent tackle though, and Everton will try to keep it for a few minutes.

Rodrigo Bentancur stops Demarai Gray as he turns inside sharply and earns a free-kick for Everton.

Bentancur is in the book too though he argues strongly against it.

    Tottenham 0-0 Everton

    It's not been a blockbuster.

Tottenham have had more of the ball but there's been very few chances from either side.

Demarai Gray's run has been the highlight so far.

    Tottenham 0-0 Everton

Spurs have moved it around nicely on occasions. It's switched across to Ivan Perisic on the left and he sends a deep cross in which is met by Matt Doherty. He's stretching to keep it in but manages to head it back across goal. Jordan Pickford was always favourite to get there first and he does.

Lu: There are no relegation candidates left for Spurs to play this side of the WC. Spurs are fighting for Europa or conference league nothing more. They have had to dig deep against seven of the bottom ten.

Nick: Spurs issue is that if Kane comes deep then he can't score. If he doesn't come deep, then no one else will create anything.

Harry Kane's footwork is excellent as he tries to wriggle past a few players in the six-yard area. He almost succeeds but Jordan Pickford comes out to block him.

Tarkowski gets his header away but he couldn't guide it towards the goal. After that one chance Everton are so much more confident.

Ashwin: Bentancur is such a classy player and Onana is such a warrior. A pairing of these two could work miracles.

Everton have wasted so much money for many many seasons.

Speaking to people before the game, they don't want to get into that mess again and be hanging on at the end of this season.

Everton pass it around at the back without much intention but when they do press forward on the left, Matt Doherty is there to intercept.

Idrissa Gueye does well a few minutes later though, spinning away from Cristian Romero and winning a free-kick in the middle.

It falls nicely for Pierre-Emile Højbjerg on the edge of the box and his eyes light up but the shot doesn't match the intention.

Gray does really well, he gets into the area and it's poor defending from Bentancur who doesn't get goal side. Gray skies the shot but he should do better.

The best chance of the game so far!

Demarai Gray is picked out by Conor Coady. He beats Rodrigo Bentancur for pace and the Spurs man has got on the wrong side of Gray. It means Gray is able to race into the box and size up Hugo Lloris before smashing it over the bar.

He really should have done better. Frank Lampard spins in frustration in the dugout.

Ben Davies quickly picks out Harry Kane. He spins, shifts it to his right then curls it towards the top corner. It takes a deflection and Spurs get a corner out of it.
