Manny: Since buying Casemiro and Eriksen its shown how silly United were for not improving that double pivot area for two years. Fred is a passenger almost every game he plays.

Luis Sinisterra swings it in from the left. Rodrigo connects with it first time on the volley but it's well blocked by Gabriel.

Chelsea are unbeaten in their last nine Premier League matches when leading at half-time (won six, drew three) dating back to 4 December, 2021 against West Ham United (lost 2-3).

Villa striker Danny Ings had five shots in the first half, one more shot than in his previous six Premier League appearances combined.

This game was worth waiting for. It's end-to-end, it's frantic and we're bound to get goals at some point.

Gabriel Martinelli sends it into the middle. It's left by Granit Xhaka, Martin Odegaard can't get his feet in place but backheels it to Gabriel Jesus and he chips it just over the bar from about two yards out!

Luis Sinisterra goes direct, running at the Arsenal defence before unleashing a decent strike. It's pushed behind for a corner.

Martin Odegaard is given so much space on the edge of the box. He shoots and catches it well but it's blocked by his own player Gabriel Jesus. It's immediately sent back into the back post where Gabriel Martinelli is waiting but he can't quite head it in - though he was probably offside anyway.
