    Leeds 0-0 Arsenal

Takehiro Tomiyasu's pass back is awful. Aaron Ramsdale has to rush a clearance which hits one of his players and Arsenal just about get away with it. Leeds fans are frustrated as they think they should have a free-kick for a foul by Thomas Partey seconds later, then Gabriel Martinelli drags back Brenden Russell Aaronson and is penalised, to cheers from the home supporters.

Leeds are getting passed out of the game, they have to make those tackles count when they get the chance.

    Leeds 0-0 Arsenal

Gabriel Jesus makes contact on it but the header lacks power from Bukayo Saka's set-piece delivery.

  4. Wasteful Villapublished at 14:51 British Summer Time 16 October 2022

    Aston Villa 0-1 Chelsea

    Alistair Magowan
    BBC Sport at Villa Park

Great half from Villa, who have done everything but score. Only a Tyrone Mings mistake between the two sides.

Chelsea have been more solid since moving Ruben Loftus-Cheek into the right wing-back slot instead of Raheem Sterling, but Graham Potter might look at switching it up at the break.

Villa surely can't be as profligate in the second half if things continue in the same manner.

  5. HALF-TIMEpublished at 14:51 British Summer Time 16 October 2022

    Man Utd 0-0 Newcastle

Goalless at Old Trafford at the interval.

Joelinton will still be scratching his head, working out how he has not put his side ahead after that brilliant chance which saw him hit the woodwork twice in quick succession.

  6. Postpublished at 14:51 British Summer Time 16 October 2022

    Leeds 0-0 Arsenal

A good run from Bukayo Saka down the right for Arsenal and he wins their first corner.

  7. HALF-TIMEpublished at 14:51 British Summer Time 16 October 2022

    Aston Villa 0-1 Chelsea

Chelsea lead as that poor Tyrone Mings header, which set up Mason Mount, has cost Aston Villa dearly.

Villa have been great since falling behind and only a wonderful 45 minutes from Kepa Arrizabalaga has kept the visitors ahead. Villa have hit the crossbar and post, while Chelsea have also hit the crossbar.

This one could still go either way.

  8. Postpublished at 14:50 British Summer Time 16 October 2022

    Leeds 0-0 Arsenal

    Pat Nevin
Former Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

It was a really beautiful move there by Arsenal, from the goalkeeper. One twos under pressure all the way up the field and they didn't panic. It's just a shame there wasn't a shot at goal at the end of it. They're such a joy to watch, Arsenal, and that was a beautiful piece of play.

  9. CLOSE!published at 14:50 British Summer Time 16 October 2022

    Leeds 0-0 Arsenal

Rodrigo has the ball at his feet a few yards out in the box but the angle is tight. He's quickly closed down by goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale after cutting inside of Takehiro Tomiyasu. Ramsdale does well to make the block.

  10. Postpublished at 14:49 British Summer Time 16 October 2022

    Man Utd 0-0 Newcastle

Antony again is the one causing Newcastle concerns, but the final ball in to Cristiano Ronaldo is missing as he cuts in from the touchline. Newcastle clear, and that should be about that.

    Southampton 1-0 West Ham

A slim lead for Southampton. West Ham have had plenty of chances.

Anon: Kepa is playing like a man possessed today, finally showing what £71 million can buy.

Patrick: What a save from Kepa! A lot has changed since the Carabao Cup final.

Gregg: Kepa you can have the freedom of Stamford Bridge, save of the season easily.

  13. Postpublished at 14:48 British Summer Time 16 October 2022

    Leeds 0-0 Arsenal

Arsenal are controlling things at the moment. Granit Xhaka and Martin Odegaard link-up on the edge of the box but Xhaka can't quite tee up Thomas Partey in the end.

It's been an intense start so far.

  14. Postpublished at 14:47 British Summer Time 16 October 2022

    Aston Villa 0-1 Chelsea

Another chance for Aston Villa and they look so much more lively with Danny Ings and Ollie Watkins partnering each other up front.

It's another chance for Ings, running to the near post to get his head on a cross but he can only send it over the top.

  15. Postpublished at 14:46 British Summer Time 16 October 2022

    Man Utd 0-0 Newcastle

Bruno Fernandes wins back possession in the middle of the park and Manchester United are away.

Antony whips a left-footed cross in to Cristiano Ronaldo but it's a few inches too high - and it looks as though Ronaldo would have been offside anyway.

    Three added minutes to come.

  16. Postpublished at 14:46 British Summer Time 16 October 2022

    Southampton 1-0 West Ham

It's definitely backs against the wall stuff for Southampton. They are clinging on a bit and need the half-time whistle to go.

West Ham put several crosses into the box and manage to keep the ball each time it's cleared.

  17. Postpublished at 14:45 British Summer Time 16 October 2022

    Man Utd 0-0 Newcastle

Approaching half-time at Old Trafford and still nothing separates the sides. Eddie Howe is scribbling down notes to relay to his players at the break, but he must be fairly happy with what he's seen so far.

  18. Postpublished at 14:44 British Summer Time 16 October 2022

    Leeds 0-0 Arsenal

Arsenal settle things down with a spell of possession, switching it across the back before Gabriel Martinelli loses possession on the touchline.

Arsenal look cold and they shouldn't be, they've been warming up for the last 10 minutes!

  20. HITS THE WOODWORK - Chelseapublished at 14:43 British Summer Time 16 October 2022

    Aston Villa 0-1 Chelsea

That positional change for Raheem Sterling almost gets an immediate impact. Kai Havertz sets him up and Sterling, just inside the penalty area, tries to curl an effort into the top corner but watches it bounce off the crossbar.

    Good game this one.
