West Ham had a go and it's a shame that Antonio isn't at his very best. They gave Liverpool a fright and David Moyes will be devastated that West Ham didn't take at least one of those chances.

That incredible challenge by James Milner denied Tomas Soucek a certain equaliser.

West Ham certainly had their chances. Jarrod Bowen's missed penalty and big opportunities for Said Benrahma and Gianluca Scamacca.

The Hammers have scored just nine goals in 11 Premier League games and their lack of spark in front of goal will worry manager David Moyes.

West Ham should have scored on three or four occasions in the second half but over the piece Liverpool were the better team. When you're going to be challengers sometimes you have to win ugly and Liverpool have done that. They partially won ugly so well done to them. They're back in the fight at least for the top four.

Jurgen Klopp's grimace has finally turned into a manic grin.

One of the first players he embraces is his penalty-saving keeper Alisson.

"Thanks son, you've won that for us."

Marcus Rashford wants another penalty as he runs onto the Bruno Fernandes pass and goes over with Eric Dier chasing back, but referee Simon Hooper points only for a goal kick.

United keep on coming and Spurs are struggling to contain the hosts here.

It ends goalless. Bryan Mbuemo had the best chance of the game with a header he put straight at Kepa.

Chelsea came on strong at the end but could not find a way to break the deadlock.

Massive save!

The ball breaks the way of Carney Chukwuemeka in the box and he spies his moment for glory, but the angle works against him, as does the brilliance of David Raya, who is down low to block.

It took a heck of an effort, plus a penalty save by Alisson, but Liverpool have survived.

Three consecutive wins for the first time this season.

Harry Kane has not had much to feed off this evening but when he does just now, he almost draws Spurs level but a well-struck shot from outside the box deflects wide.
