Nottingham Forest 1-0 Liverpool
Taiwo Awoniyi is Nottingham Forest's top Premier League scorer this season (three goals). All of his strikes have come at the City Ground.
Nottingham Forest 1-0 Liverpool
Another chance for Forest to double their lead. Cheikhou Kouyate breaks free and Liverpool are stretched. The low cross finds substitute Brennan Johnson and his effort is creeping inside the post before Alisson gets down well to keep it out.
Nottingham Forest 1-0 Liverpool
The headline of the day so far is Taiwo Awoniyi, who has scored the only goal of the match against the team where he came through the ranks but never played a senior game.
Awoniyi comes off to a great reception from the home fans and on comes defender Joe Worrall.
Nottingham Forest 1-0 Liverpool
Roberto Firmino has a glorious chance for an equaliser as he is found free with a corner. He can't move his feet quick enough though and his stooping header is wide of the post.

Paul: This could be the result that brings this Forest team fully together. The confidence they’d get if they win this would be huge. Saying that Liverpool have been falling behind a lot in recent times but often come back.
Willem: This would be an amazing result for Forest if they can hang on. Might turn their season around.
Nottingham Forest 1-0 Liverpool
Forest push for a second goal. Morgan Gibbs-White has time and space to shoot at goal but it is a brilliant, sliding block by James Milner to divert it away for a corner, which Alisson gets a hand to.

The question on the lips of all Forest fans now is: will they hang onto the lead?
They have got into a bad habit of conceding leads this season. It has happened four times but Liverpool are playing poorly and Forest must sense an upset.
Nottingham Forest 1-0 Liverpool
So close to an immediate equaliser. Harvey Elliott, who has impressed today, hits a powerful effort and it is going in, but Dean Henderson does excellently to fling himself to the right, gets two hands to it and palms it away.

Great goal. I'm so pleased for Nottingham Forest!
What a great start to the second half.
Taiwo Awoniyi
Taiwo Awoniyi was fouled for the free-kick near the halfway line and he is the one who scores the goal.
The free-kick is played wide right to Steve Cook, he fizzes in a low cross and it falls to Awoniyi. His first shot bounces off the right post but he is the quickest to react to the follow-up and tucks it away.
Forest lead and the City Ground is bouncing.
Nottingham Forest 0-0 Liverpool
Joe Gomez gets a yellow card as he is caught in possession on the halfway line by Taiwo Awoniyi.
Gomez then grabs hold of the Forest striker and sees yellow.
Nottingham Forest 0-0 Liverpool
James Milner swings in a free-kick and Mohamed Salah looks to have some space at the back post, but can't connect with an attempted volley and that kind of sums up this match so far.
Harvey Elliott then goes to ground under a challenge from Steve Cook, but referee Paul Tierney is not interested in any penalty shouts.
Nottingham Forest 0-0 Liverpool
Neco Williams makes a bright dash forwards for the hosts and tries his luck from 25 yards out, but solid defending from the in-form Joe Gomez who blocks the strike.
Nottingham Forest 0-0 Liverpool
Right, back under way at the City Ground.

Phil: Forest have defended really well and the crowd are loving the commitment from the players.

Brighton aren't clinical, City are at their best.
You look at however many goals [Erling] Haaland has scored, add to it the defeat [at Liverpool] and the week City have had because they haven't played this week, it will be brewing in them.
It is like losing just before an international break; nobody wants to do it because you've just got to sit and wait, you want that next game to come.
If it ends up with a hatful of chances, you've got to back City to take more than Brighton with the players they've got.
Everton v Crystal Palace (15:00 BST)

There was a bit of anxiety among some Everton fans I spoke with in the Goodison Cafe this afternoon on my way into the ground.
They have suffered three defeats in a row, including a loss to Manchester United the last time they played at Goodison Park.
Many see this as a 'must-win' game with Palace four places and just three points above them in the table.
With a trip to Fulham next, then a home game against Leicester City in November to follow, it's a good opportunity for Frank Lampard's side to get a good run going.
There does feel like a greater sense of togetherness around the club this season but a good run would build some much-needed momentum.

A standing ovation for Steve Cooper and his players as they head for the dressing room at half-time.
Forest came flying out of the blocks and have caused problems with Cheikhou Kouyate and Jesse Lingard both testing Alisson.
Liverpool had 73% in the first half but did not trouble the Premier League's bottom club enough. They managed just one attempt on target. Jurgen Klopp will want to see more from his side in the second half.

Simon: Is it possible the Liverpool players are carrying more knocks than they care to admit publicly? They seem to be holding back in key areas.
