James Milner comes on for Trent Alexander-Arnold as Liverpool almost scramble it over the goalline on a corner. Robert Firmino was among it but couldn't get a clean connection. Leeds break at the other end but Patrick Bamford's touch is poor and he wastes the chance to shoot.

Much better from Liverpool. It's played to the feet of Darwin Nunez on the edge of the box. He shifts it inside and strikes it powerfully but again, Illan Meslier makes a crucial save.

J Staggs: Liverpool need to be attacking those wide channels against this Leeds side who play very narrow.

Thiago flicks it over his opponent's head then juggles it on his thighs before playing it over the top for Mohamed Salah. He cuts it back to Darwin Nunez but he's pushed too wide. That would have been the moment of quality Liverpool needed but it broke down at the crucial stage.

Genuinely tough to call which way this game will go. Leeds have shown the most desire in this half but are lacking in the final third and with Liverpool you always feel they are capable of producing that one moment of quality, despite not being at their best at all today.

Just under 20 minutes to go and there's a bit of nervy feeling in both the home and away ends.

Mohamed Salah does really well on the right-hand side to wriggle past Pascal Struijk and Liam Cooper but he tries to scoop it over to the back post and he completely fluffs it. Straight into the stands. Just about sums it up.

Exciting teenager Wilfried Gnonto is on for his Leeds debut, replacing Jack Harrison. What can he do here?

Curtis Jones has looked lively since coming on. He slips it inside for Mohamed Salah. His shot is blocked by Robin Koch and bounces back off Salah for a goal kick.

Virgil van Dijk is beaten to the ball by Patrick Bamford. Joe Gomez plays it safe as Bamford chases it down and it goes back to Alisson.

A little spell of pressure from Liverpool as they win a corner after Mohamed Salah's shot is deflected wide and the following cut-back from Roberto Firmino is put behind.

Jack Harrison wins another corner for Leeds off Trent Alexander-Arnold. Their third in 10 minutes or so.

But it's sent way too deep and bounces out for a throw-in on the far side. Lacking in quality at the moment from both sides.

Nothing is going right for Liverpool at the moment. Alisson's pass to Trent Alexander-Arnold is miscontrolled and Jack Harrison then wins a throw-in off Joe Gomez in the corner.

Curtis Jones is straight into the thick of it as he gets a shot off on the edge of the box. It's blocked and comes back to the edge where Darwin Nunez lets it rolls for Andy Robertson. He fizzes it back towards Illan Meslier, who punches it away.

Jurgen Klopp makes his first moves as Jordan Henderson and Curtis Jones are on for Harvey Elliott and Fabhino.

Alisson tries to quickly release Mohamed Salah in a trademark move but it won't reach him. Leeds go straight back to Patrick Bamford but his long-range effort, trying to chip Alisson, isn't great.
