I think it is [a decent point for Everton]. I actually like the job Frank Lampard is doing at Everton and I think they are making small steps. Are Everton fans happy with a point?

Suspect that they would have liked their team to show more attacking intent, but I mean do they agree with me?

Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford: "Mitrovic is a good player and he's going to work the backline, I had to be there to make some saves and I did that tonight.

"To get a point and a clean sheet away from home is always good, we want to get better but you can never be perfect. I made some good saves after working hard all week.

"I graft really hard and I like putting on performances. The World Cup is around the corner so I'll keep my head focused."

Football fans of a certain vintage will remember many a thrilling encounter between these two old rivals over the years.

From Kevin Keegan and Billy Bremner scrapping in the 1974 Charity Shield to Mark Viduka banging in four goals as Leeds beat Liverpool 4-3 in 2000, this is a fixture that is often memorable, as Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has recognised in his programme notes.

"This is a game which I know has a lot of history given the rivalry between our two clubs which stretches back for many, many years," Klopp writes, adding: "Whenever we have a match against Leeds, I know to expect a real battle no matter what the situation is."

With this game taking place under the lights at Anfield given the unusual Saturday night kick off time of 19:45 BST, this has the potential to be yet another memorable encounter between the two.

There were no real clear cut chances in that second half, certainly none where you thought either side were going to win the game. There were chances when the final execution should have been better. Overall it was an entertaining 0-0 draw, as entertaining as those games can be.

The point for Everton, I think Frank Lampard will be reasonably happy. Fulham have been on the up and they have been tough to play against at home, scoring for fun. So therefore, Everton coming away with a 0-0 and that point, they will probably be happier with that end result.

There's still one more game to come tonight too and it could be a decent one between Liverpool and Leeds. Kick-off at Anfield is at 7.45pm. Warm-ups fully under way.

Take them both, got a bigger squad this time haven't they? You don't need 10 defenders.

Anyway, Fulham may be playing until the World Cup and won't score as another cross gets away from them.

The question is, will Dominic Calvert-Lewin have done enough by the time the World Cup squad is selected. Has he had enough time? Will he have played well enough? Or would you look at Callum Wilson up at Newcastle?

I'm not sure. It's going to be an interesting selection choice for the England squad at this World Cup. It's a good problem to have.

Everton (212) have faced the most shots in the Premier League this season. Mind you, Fulham have had over 20 tonight with no reward.

Willian is ripping it up. Rolling back the years. He dances down the left, gets into the area and cuts back a good ball which again is asking to be put away but an Everton boot gets it clear.

Paul: Fulham are a decent side, Everton are a shocking one. Only one team even trying win this game and it’s Fulham so hope they can get the goal.

Everton have hardly had the ball and when they do get it, the ball goes astray. They have been so focused on defending.
